I guess a lot of it comes down to how they all feel back as a 5 again, how well the CIN single does, and how the tour does. Never say Never!

I felt sad reading that, I must admit! I'd much rather they vanished again than broke up officially, at least with the former there's always a little glimmer of hope that they'll come back...

Can't believe for the past three years they've been constantly saying it's just a hiatus and that they haven't split up... and then on the day they make an announcement about coming back, we discover they're probably splitting. Ow.

So much for "we're contracted for 3 more albums, so we have to make 3 more albums".

Reading this thread my face went from :mellow: to :D to :( in the space of like a minute :lol:

I never expected them to go back to how it was before. Every band has a certain amount of time and although getting back together has worked well for Take That, I don't think the same will happen. I'm just really wanting another tour, especially if it's the last chance to see them. Anything else is a bonus.

 

It is quite sad to read that though, never want them to split up. :(

I understand what she's saying, but if what appears to be from Cheryl's book is also true, then there are SO MANY mixed emotions! :( I hope for at LEAST three new songs - hopefully even more. (The second tweet is more encouraging - fingers crossed!)

Genuinely have tears in my eyes after reading that 'extract' from Cheryl's book. Seriously hoping it's fake, they can't just announce SOMETHING only for that to happen. :cry: (I'm listening to Nadine!)

I'm still trying to work out how their releasing music alongside Cheryl. Seems confusing.

 

They need to come back as a group.

Cheryl is the worst thing ever to happen to Girls Aloud #justsayin

 

Anyway I'm still cautiously optimistic about this. Even though a new greatest hits is ENTIRELY pointless.

Contradicting each other, I really hope it isn't the end. But if it is they better go out with a bang!

Such a good discography! So solid! A lot of "it's so bad, but it's amazing" sort of covers! (Practically all of their covers bar the dreary 'See The Day' - but especially 'Walk This Way')
