Album Discussion Here Still top 40! :D Surely the longeivity of this is one of the most surprising things of the year chartwise? I saw it was top 30 on iTunes still, would be amazing to get a 6th week! :D
February 27, 201115 yr He means when did it stop in the 90s when entering high was the rule after 95 until about 2007/2008! Oh, silly me, I thought he was talking about now.
February 27, 201115 yr clearly reaching its height during the classic blur vs oasis battle in august 95!! check out eric - thinks the charts only began in 2005 lol :P
February 27, 201115 yr 1997 was the big year for chart movement and entries in the top40. It was pretty remarkable in that aspect.
February 27, 201115 yr Like the Noah & the Whale song... they should get a second top 10 album with the exposure the single has recieved, odd that the album that failed to go top 10 could well be their most critically acclaimed

February 27, 201115 yr Oh dear, the video really didn't do anything for this at all did it :( I don't know wether to blame Britney, her UK label or just... Jesus! So I'll just blame all 3!
February 27, 201115 yr Author clearly reaching its height during the classic blur vs oasis battle in august 95!! check out eric - thinks the charts only began in 2005 lol :P Well, the height of hig new entries was in 1997 - 2001 imo - 7 new top 10 entries occured in 97 and of course 2000 is known for its 46 #1 singles
February 27, 201115 yr clearly reaching its height during the classic blur vs oasis battle in august 95!! check out eric - thinks the charts only began in 2005 lol :P Okay, it's not my fault didn't listen to the Radio 1 chart show until 2009! Hold It Against Me!!! Should've been a #1 imo. :(
February 27, 201115 yr Started to end in Early mid 95 - high debuts started to spring up after Blur's Girls & Boys entered at 5 in Early 95. also was this because song were in the shops as soon as they were played on radio??surely popaular artists still debuted high??
February 27, 201115 yr Poor Britney hasn't had a great run - let's hope it can stick around for another week or two!!!
February 27, 201115 yr Britney falling again even despite the video release  What a flop, maybe her next single will be bigger though?
February 27, 201115 yr Lol, the chart run for this has been distinctly poor for such a high-profile release. The woman has two absolute pop staples and the rest of her UK career (particularly since her comeback) has flattered to deceive. Shame really, this is pretty decent.
February 27, 201115 yr To be fair. Without the video Britney probably wouldn't even be in the top 40 this week. :( Such a shame. This song deserved more appreciation (in the UK). :(
