been naughty and listened to chris browns FAME album have to say i like it alot, will buy when it comes out. I still cant believe how long yeah x3 has stayed in the top 10 i dont think no one really predicted that and also champion for holding out so long.

as much as I like Grenade, I'm glad we're finally getting new blood in the top 10- and what better than Dr Dre :D hopefully Tiesto and Birdy can knock Adele out as well

lol. That's what I thought when I first heard Just Dance/Poker Face (I don't know which of the two I heard first, because I couldn't tell the difference between them for a few months), and then again when I first heard Bad Romance. :lol:

 

I don't think that about On the Floor though. The main recent popular song it sounds like is Stereo Love. And it also sounds like the song it samples, obviously. I wouldn't say it's generic. It seems moreso in Europe, obviously, but it's rare they get songs like that getting so popular in the US. Obviously the rapping and the fact that they've "popped the song up" (like they did with Only Girl) helps in the US though.

:lol: It's not naughty to listen to his album!! But yeah, I'm surprised by the longevity of both his songs in the top 10 at the moment, although considering that it's had no competition really. If it was released in the last 4 months of 2010, it'd probably have had 3 weeks in the top 10 max.

It is a terrible song probably her worst.Not sure why RedOne is so crap most of the time and Pitbull makes every song ugly.I think the song would have deservedly sunk without trace if she did not have the American Idol gig and the video was not premiered on the show.

RedOne can make good songs from time to time though. I think On the Floor is incredible. As is Start Without You. And that remix he did of Hips Don't Lie for the world cup. Just because a lot of his songs sound really generic, it doesn't mean all of them do.

 

And the most generic popular song of recent times is In My Head by Jason Derulo, easily. Although Ridin' Solo was my 2nd favourite song of 2010, so that sort of made up for it. :lol:
