I still can't believe that Someone Like You is away to outsell Rolling In The Deep and it's not even a single(sly)

I think Dog Days Are Over by Glee Cast might miss the official top 40 at the end of the week. It was in today's mid-weeks.

Yeah, Someone Like You is easily the best-selling album track of all-time now, I would think. Before that would've probably been Game Over? Didn't it spend like 4 weeks in the top 40? I can't think of any other album tracks that did that. Most other massive-selling album tracks (e.g. Love the Way You Lie) become singles in the end anyway.

Talking about album tracks, Marry You is still doing very well!

Teenage Dirtbag is #30 so it officialy might just sneak top 40!

I'd say get to around 25-22 and hold there or climb a bit more and it should get top 40 officially but I see it falling to mid 30's by Saturday night so it'll end up outside. We'll see but would be good to hear it in the charts.

Yeah, I think Teenage Dirtbag would need to go higher than #30 to go top 40, considering it was selling a negligible amount on Sunday. It could manage it next week though, depending on how long this 59p thing lasts for.
Eric, Game over had a video aswell though! Marry You isin't even Bruno Mars's next song it's Lazy Song!

Oh wow. Never knew Game Over had a video!!!!!!! /sarcasm

 Yeah, I know it had a video. I mean, I was obsessed with the song for quite a while. But it wasn't released as a single, and it sold a lot.

Not to mention, Adele's using the BRITs performance as the official video for now. Firstly, it's getting more airplay than Game Over did. Secondly, Adele's video is better. I love Game Over, but I doubt if its video was played at the BRITs, it would've shot up to #1 in the charts like that. Adele's video is far more powerful, so she has an advantage there. Tinchy Stryder's video just seemed like a "Okay, we've got an album track that will probably chart well. May aswell film a really cheap video so MTV can play it"-type thing.

Yeah, Marry You is another high-selling album track (seemingly based solely off an episode of Glee). Presuming it never gets made a single, it can join that group of high-selling album tracks along with Someone Like You and Game Over (and can anybody think of any others?). I guess Umbrella by JLS and Use Somebody by Pixie Lott are album tracks, in a way, and I remember them selling a lot too. Nothing else comes to mind though... There's Who You Are which is another recent high-selling album track, but I think there's good odds of that being the 4th single from Jessie J.

The one that springs to mind that went top 40 but was never a single, was "I Dreamed A Dream" by Susan Boyle.

I guess it just depends what way you look at it, but surely that title goes to Leona's 'Run'?
I'm really happy to see The Pierces holding in top 70. The song is beautiful, it deserves top 10!

27. Just Can't Get Enough - Black Eyed Peas

Sorry I'm late, but when the flip did this jump up?

It's been climbing fairly steadily for ages. It's just because it's starting to get airplay. Not sure if the video is out yet?

I hope I need a doctor sneak into the top 10 today it has been gaining on the pop bars all week

The third version of Price Tag is out of the top 100 now, but I've combined tne top two versions of SLY and the top two versions of PT to do another pop bar update and Jessie is at 63.7%.
