All 3 will probably sell 1 million, or close to it, by the end of the year which really only leaves the X Factor winner or something extraordinary which would top them.

Perhaps Simon Cowell will release a Charity track for the Japan Earthquake :D

A quick Adele query.

When was "Someone Like You" officially released as a download? Is it available as a physical release and if not are there plans for a physical release? Thanks in advance! ;)

Perhaps. Although Someone Like You is probably going to be performed in every episode of the X Factor this year.

As long as it's not Grenade that gets it!!

Id' forgot about that actually; never mind being used as backing music throughout the audition/boot camp/judge's hosue stages. So yeah, SLY is back in the running. :o

It was available to be downloaded as a stand-alone track on the issue of Adele's album (6.5 weeks ago).

I wouldn't put it past him but given the law of diminishing returns for each charity track that he's issued to date, I don't think (even if it captures high first week sales) it'll trouble the year end top 10, never mind the top spot.

Britney is dropping really fast! She will miss top 20 :o

This actually pleases me, I am glad her and Gaga missed out on the No 1.Not sure why Britney does no promotion these days.

I have some reasons on my mind but i'm not gonna hate

It seems she's repeating exactly the same mistakes she did with Circus era!

Thanks! :)

really glad Noah and the whale are top 20 and Wiz climbing :D although its a shame Tinie is still at 11 :(

tbh I did like Someone Like You, but I feel its outstayed its welcome now, a 4th week I can tolerate, but after that I hope something new stops it- that said, six weeks from Price Tag and I'd be just about ready to throw myself off a bridge! :drama:

and this Japan earthquake is really severe atm- I wouldn't write off a charity single being announced in the next few months

If there was a charity single announced, I think it would be sooner than in the next few months. We'd probably hear about it in a couple of weeks max, because they'd need to, firstly, raise money as soon as possible, and secondly, they'd do it asap because they'll raise more money whilst everybody is still in shock and upset about it.

Agree, it would be in the timescales we heard about the Haiti single, which IIRC was very, very quick.

Agreed. There won't be as much sympathy for a wealthy (despite their deficit) nation like Japan than there was for Haiti.

Maybe there could be though because our deficit is also in the same boat.

and mean Chris misses the top 5 by a place for the Xth? week.

2nd.

Also, I don't think there'll be a Japan charity single, as RFC said there isn't really a lot of sympathy for disasters in developed countries unfortunately. Terrible news though :( Although given it was an 8.9 (!!!) the death toll seems very low, but that may just be me. And obviously the death toll we know about now is likely to increase by a lot over the next couple of weeks. It's a good thing it didn't hit Tokyo really because that would have just been pure pandemonium...

Well, Japan get lots of earthquakes, so I think they prepare themselves well (well, as well as you can prepare yourself for an earthquake). Like the majority of the buildings there are quite earthquake-resistant. If we had the earthquake in the UK, the death toll would be much higher, since we hardly ever get significant earthquakes here.

I think the tsunami would be a bigger problem for Tokyo.

I really hope Avril holds on to a Top 10 placing for 'Goodbye Lullaby'. It should be #1 IMO :(
