I like the clip. But the lyric content just seems a bit naff, so i'm a tad dissapointed at Ina. I like the sound so kudos to Steve Mac but it sounds like it needs to be a tad faster in time for the "I'm a bad bad girl, I'm a bad girl, I'm notorious" line in the chorus (presuming what Ness was singing was the chorus).

 

The cover is naff and deffinately the worst one yet by far. The girls look stunning in the picture but it's the background and the re-styled logo and the Notorious font that throw the whole thing off. I think we may need a HQ version before laying this down to rest.

 

What's going on with the release date? First it was 29th May, then 27th June, and now 22nd May?! Wait.. they're not gonna do the digital release 22nd May and then the physical release 27th June are they? That could be a possible answer. That Amazon page also confirms that they are now on Polydor/Geffen, may Polydors sub-label Fascination R.I.P.

It's closer to Up than Higher. That's not bad, just different. More similar to the sound from their debut.

The worst thing is that sound gets easily dated with the time, just like Up.

If I'm honest, right now I'm a little bit dissapointed but you can tell that it's a build up but I'm looking forward to the chrous more than anything - And I can see why people hate the cover - It looks like somethingI'd make in the Single Cover Desuign Comp :P (I usually finish last!)

Well we can't really say it's a summer smash yet, considering it's only a 30 second clip. :lol:

I am liking the sound of the clip, sounds catchy and the beat is good however the lyrics are awful. The artwork isnt that great either, it looks like they have gone back to 'If This Is Love' type look, so I hope this doesn't have the same fate as that. I will pass further judgement when I hear the whole thing, but I like it at the minute.

Seems like the digital single will also have the instrumental and a live version of 'Higher' from the tour :) You can only hear the intro in the clip though.

I actually love the clip! It's a nice uptempo song. Do i think it's a bit of anti climax from the clip? NO. I really love this clip and I really, really want the full song out as soon as possibile. The first time i heard it I was a bit like hmmmm but now.. wow! It's been moved forward a week now! That's better news.

 

Also the timeline is all about The Saturdays Notorious when you put a hashtag for #notorious on twitter. It's gaining more publicty now that we have a 30 second clip (A)

I love how I will also be getting the live version of Higher & hope they use that as the physical Cd in Hmv and on Itunes.
