That chart thing was pointless. This is really growing on me, one of my favourite McFly songs ever now. Shame it didnt get higher, but it doesn't suprise me, its not cheesy and commercial enough to be big.
#40 - Down On Me

When I first heard this i though WTF, but after my friend continously played it in the car it does catch on eventually.

#39 - Moment For Life

So should be out next week, its probably her best, and the first verse I know all the words, its just so funny

#38 - Never Say Never

Again, one of his best, should be out next week too, not bad for a bieber track. (He is a talented kid though).

#37 - Hey Soul Sister (Glee version)

For Glee to chart with this is really impressive as it wasnt even a big song over here, where did it peak originally by Train?

#36 - Firework

LOL Cant believe this is up one, has this overtaken sales of CG yet? Hope so I prefer it myself.

#35 - Thats The Truth

As someone said earlier, this is one of their best, a good mcfly song actually.

#18, but its chart run is very good for its peak:

64-51-36-22-22-18-21-21-25-28-32-30-28-32-31-34-34-34-30-37-42-50-55-53-65-65-53-64-76-94-x

The 'you're gonna be lonely' part of this song strongly reminds me of another song but I can't think what it is

I'm sure he keeps singing "kick the $h!t"...

OK record from Jeremih, I'm not so sure if this is his birthday today but he is celebrating today since he's no longer a one hit wonder in the UK

This chart show is still absolutely awful. Weird Jeremih song, Minaj being skipped yet again, Bieber being mentioned, Glee being played after they made us believe they didn't chart, old overplayed Katy Perry song, pointlessly long interview, average McFly song, now this $h!t. Hopefully all the $h!te is over now. -_-

EDIT: Obviously not, old overplayed Rihanna song now.

It outsold 15 other no.1s of the year in terms of total sales and had much higher sales the four weeks either side of being no.1. The unworthiness I speak of is more due to quality and overall success of the song rather than just the week at no.1 in question. And I also feel its unfair as people will overlook the other facts and judge it based on that one week of sales.

I wouldn't say "much" higher. It started out with 22k at #5 and then decreased in sales each week during its climb to #1. It was a lucky #1 simple as - it really should have been just a high-selling top 3 hit really, but instead it managed to luck out on a poor period competition-wise. So again, I really don't think it's "unworthy" as I feel having such a low-selling week at #1 means it'll be judged (rightly) as it is: a very lucky number one. That's the way I see it anyway :)

I wish they'd get rid of this celebrity chart number game, especially the intro to it. And the stupid Happy Birthday thing. They both make every question asked in chart trivia look 100% relevant.

A green-eyed beauty with a sultry voice, Rihanna was discovered as a teenager on her island home of Barbados, and quickly signed with the venerable Def Jam records. Powered by a Soft Cell sample, her infectious dancehall/Caribbean single "Pon de Replay," from her album the MUSIC OF THE SUN, became the summer jam of 2005, peaking at number two on the charts. By 2006 she had become a worldwide sensation, and her second album, A GIRL LIKE ME, went platinum, boosted by a Nike ad song, guest appearances on ALL MY CHILDREN, and a film part in BRING IT ON: ALL OR NOTHING. Further success followed with 2007's double platinum GOOD GIRL GONE BAD, which spawned the all conquering "Umbrella" - topping the UK singles chart for ten weeks in the summer of that year. - HMV
