March 13, 201115 yr I don't think he likes it? He does. He's been praying it gets into the top 40 for weeks! Unless he just wants more new entries into the top 40, I dunno. I'll just be alone in my liking of it then :( I have to admit the first time I heard it the other week though I did think once/if it got into the top 40 it'd be a contender for hate chart #1
March 13, 201115 yr This cover started promising in the intro, but now it just sounds really bland. However, this song wouldn't sound the same if anyone but Train sing it.

March 13, 201115 yr Wow, Glee rised :o? They always fall at least a few places from the Almost Saturday Charts. Its fair to say, its not my favourite Glee track, Valarie and DDAO were far better this week for me.. I've not heard their version of Dog Days and plan to keep it that way.
March 13, 201115 yr And I like Down On Me. Just to stop this constant stream of hatred, and since Eric_Blob isn't here to do the same. I don't hate it either. It's technically absolutely terrible but there's something about it which makes it decent. The accent in the chorus is annoying though. They're flying thorugh the chart, I sense long interviews coming up :( 36 [37] // KATY PERRY - “Firework” 5-6-4-3-5-8-11-12-12-8-5-7-14-23-27-31-31-34-33-37-36- 37 [**] // GLEE CAST - “Hey, Soul Sister” 37- 38 [38] // JUSTIN BIEBER FEAT. March 13, 201115 yr How on earth did 'Firework' rise  Its been lingering around the 50's on iTunes
March 13, 201115 yr Oh I love the Glee version of 'Hey Soul Sister' despite not being terribly keen on the original at all. Very rarely do they actually imrpove on the original but I definatly think it's the case with this. I take it this means 'Dog Days Are Over' missed the top 40 then? Shame.
March 13, 201115 yr how did this climb? seriously? getting a tad bored of it now, it needs to leave the top 40 now
March 13, 201115 yr I don't hate it either. March 13, 201115 yr It was lucky to get to #1 at all. Only got there because it was consistent while others like Chico weren't, and the new entries weren't strong enough. So I don't think it's "unworthy" of lowest #1 sales in one week. Probably would have been better if it had gone to McFly or something though. And I like Down On Me. Just to stop this constant stream of hatred, and since Eric_Blob isn't here to do the same. It outsold 15 other no.1s of the year in terms of total sales and had much higher sales the four weeks either side of being no.1. The unworthiness I speak of is more due to quality and overall success of the song rather than just the week at no.1 in question. And I also feel its unfair as people will overlook the other facts and judge it based on that one week of sales.
March 13, 201115 yr I take it this means 'Dog Days Are Over' missed the top 40 then? Shame. Thankfully, yes. Glee should never have been allowed to touch Dog Days Are Over, it needs Florence's voice. No one else can sing that song.
March 13, 201115 yr 35 (from 67) McFly - That's The Truth [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/2765815.JPG Chart Run: 67-35 [2 wks] Release date: 07-03-2011 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 2765815 Label: island UK pop quartet McFly burst on to the chart scene with a fresh twist on the boy band formula, they played their instruments! They wrote their own material! Lead vocalist and chief songwriter Tom Fletcher originally tried out for Busted, but when he was beaten to the position by Charlie Simpson the band's management held further auditions to form a new outfit centred around him. The links between the two bands were cemented when Fletcher contributed material for Busted b-sides, and the two bands toured together in 2003. The invaluable exposure from the tour helped push McFly's debut single, "5 Colours In Her Hair" to the top of the UK singles chart where it was promptly joined by debut full length ROOM ON THE 3RD FLOOR. Follow-up effort, WONDERLAND, matched that achievement and in 2006 they moved into the movies, starring alongside Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan in the film JUST MY LUCK. - HMV Video here: xA3tHGWbuF4 Chart history (Year peak title): 2004 01 5 Colours In Her Hair 2004 01 Obviously 2004 03 That Girl 2004 05 Room On The 3rd Floor 2005 01 All About You / You've Got A Friend 2005 01 I'll Be OK 2005 03 I Wanna Hold You 2005 09 Ultraviolet / The Ballad Of Paul K 2006 01 Don't Stop Me Now / Please Please 2006 01 Star Girl 2006 03 Sorry's Not Good Enough / Friday Night 2007 01 Baby's Coming Back / Transylvania 2007 03 The Heart Never Lies 2008 02 One For The Radio 2008 04 Lies 2008 18 Do Ya / Stay With Me 2010 06 Party Girl 2010 04 Shine A Light (McFly Feat. March 13, 201115 yr Here we go with the pointless long interviews when they could have played at least one of 38 & 39. WTF are they playing out last week's top 10 but with McFly reading it out? That's The Truth is McFly's lowest peaking official single by some way then. Edited March 13, 201115 yr by Bray
March 13, 201115 yr McFly's last album is their best they've ever done. But it seems that the best of them isn't interesting enough :( and wow for Firework for climbing... AGAIN!
March 13, 201115 yr get on with it already! big flop for them nonetheless, first ever to miss the top 20
March 13, 201115 yr #40 - Down On Me When I first heard this i though WTF, but after my friend continously played it in the car it does catch on eventually. #39 - Moment For Life So should be out next week, its probably her best, and the first verse I know all the words, its just so funny  #38 - Never Say Never Again, one of his best, should be out next week too, not bad for a bieber track. (He is a talented kid though). #37 - Hey Soul Sister (Glee version) For Glee to chart with this is really impressive as it wasnt even a big song over here, where did it peak originally by Train? #36 - Firework LOL Cant believe this is up one, has this overtaken sales of CG yet? Hope so I prefer it myself. #35 - Thats The Truth As someone said earlier, this is one of their best, a good mcfly song actually.
March 13, 201115 yr I thought McFly were funny when they did the Jedward impressions.......but that was just annoying.
