I can see that it's different with this though as it's an obvious close battle, I managed to not look at the spoilers thankfully! It was different with CMN as it was an obvious #1, ahead on iTunes all week etc.

He is not being a "twat", he was responding to a request by me to please delete spoilers- even if it is not in the chart forum YOU certainly know the rules about posting spoilers. Now please remove the post.

I don't see what's wrong with posting Spoilers though, the only way people will see is if they want to know? and it's not like it's on the chart forum. It's on the Girls Aloud thread.

I do agree it's a close battle, but it's not like that it's been posted in the actual chart forum, It would be different if I posted Cheryl Debuted this week at #25 without putting a spoiler at it.

There is a big difference between posting the results of say, the Voice and posting chart positions not yet revealed by radio 1 on this site.

 

Any more posting of these spoilers will result in warns being issued. I hope this is clear.

Being in the Girls Aloud forum does not mean that people can't see it. We need to err on the side of caution in relation to posting/ tweeting/ etc sensitive chart information before it is in the "public domain" i.e before 7pm. Some don't want to see it but regardless of that even artists should not be posting the info before it is unveiled but that's a matter way beyond this forum. Spoiler tags merely highlight people's curiosity and posting "chart spoiler position" or some such above the spoiler isn't really hiding it- more highlighting it don't you think?

Anyhow you have been warned in the past for posting spoilers in the chart forum, posting info in here doesn't make any difference, it still applies been posted on the board as said above. So please do yourself a favour in future do not post any spoilers. Anyhow I let Jester deal with this.

Thanks Jester, Gezza and Martin. I would usually leave spoilers, but as Liam said, it is a close battle this week, and the posters had used emoticons in their posts which would pretty much give away what's said in them anyway, rendering them pointless.

Safe to talk about it now.

 

 

#2 is still really good, of course. It's just a bit disappointing for her to be so close, yet so far. :(

Ahh well #2 is still great, Would of loved her to get her 3rd #1 album tho!

She should have taken advantage at the fact Bieber wasn't in the country and done TV promotion. All she did was two CD signings. Both limited to 500 people.

I'm sorry but I'm with Lee on this one. If they were in spoilers, I don't see the harm, at all. Why do we have the spoiler tags, if we can't post stuff like that? It's a bit strange. Fair enough, delete the emoticons (that annoys me too how they don't get spoiled) but I honestly don't see the problem with posting spoilers, within a spoiler tag. (Seeing as that's what they're used for)

Because I didn't want to read the post, even if it was obvious what the content was. If the admins want to take the posts out of the trash can, that's up to them.

Don't highlight the spoiler then? If you highlight the spoiler then you have no one to blame but yourself. :lol: (No point in taking them out the trash can now though. I was just putting my opinion in (as I wasn't around when it originally kicked off and I don't like seeing one person get ganged up on by 4 or 5 posters.)) That's why the spoiler code is there, imo. For stuff like that. If it's not then I don't see why we bother having the spoiler code for anywhere other than TV/Film threads
