[***] 214| Milk & Sugar & Vaya Con Dios - Hey (Nah Nah Nah)

Noooo this can't be real! I thought it would get top 20 at least but it hasn't been R1 playlisted and this could have been a big dance hit if they held it back longer and promoted it properly

Why is everyone talking about Champion? That song is arrogant yet it's hard to believe it's the same guy who did Yeah 3X!

Plus if you see him in Yeah 3X he dances quite well

Arrogant!!? :o Chris Brown's lyrics in that song are truly amazing imo. You can tell they come from his heart. Even though what he has just done does contradict them to some extent...

Has it been released? This needs to be top 10! Obsession

God Loleatta Holloway :o I listened to some of her stuff thanks to the C&S sample and for old music it wasn't bad - R.I.P. :(
ah dam, I was hoping that Milk and Sugar would be a number 1 :( still Americano wasn't instantly number 1, so maybe there's hope

For old music it wasn't bad? ;)

Go Glee. Just that extra couple of spaces... Once it hits top 10, then I think it'll probably peak at around 6/7 before going into it's usual decline...

I'm pretty sure it would need to be top 10 by now if it is going to go top 10 at all.

I know. I meant on iTunes, peak around 6/7 (if it is to make the top 10) Not officially :P
R.I.P Loleatta Holloway

wow, two deaths of great contributors to the music industry within the space of a week :(

I would love Ride on Time to get top 40, classic song

Generation gap.

I am 14, I don't like much 70s/80s apart from a bit of Whitney, MJ, Madonna etc. (all the big artists) sadly, and for me S Club 7 is 'old music' tbh :P

There is only a few old songs I like. I prefer the music nowadays.

lol. Well Whitney, Michael Jackson and Madonna were all in the charts only a couple of years ago!

And I LOVED S Club 7!! And I loved Steps too. And the Spice Girls.

I was really pleased I was the age I was at the end of the 90's. If I was any younger, I wouldn't be able to remember it like you (not your fault obviously, it's life, and you can't control when you were born, not to mention, I'm sure the average 10 year old in 2011 likes the music as much as the average 10 year old did in 1997, whether people like to admit it or not), and if I was this age back then, I would've NEVER liked them!

Although maybe I would've done, since I like The Saturdays, and I used to love the Sugababes and Girls Aloud when I was in senior school.

I don't think we could ever get anyone as popular as the Spice Girls again though. Whenever people start coming close to that popularity these days, the media always cause a public backlash against them somehow and/or everybody starts getting fed up of them, even after a few months, let alone a few years!

Also, I do know, and like a fair few songs from the 80's in particular, but I think that's just because many of my favourite rappers grew up in the 80's, hence choose to sample songs from that decade, and being the hip hop fanatic that I am, I always end up going and listening to the originals. And I have to say, it was a weird experience for me when Flo Rida released Sugar, which sampled one of my favourite songs when I was younger (I vividly remember going home after football practice, and watching it on Top of the Pops when it was #1).

ANYWAY, before I get too nostalgic, I wonder if Black and Yellow could overtake The Wanted in a few days!! There's a massive gap between their pop bars, but Gold Forever has been falling qutie quickly, and I think Black and Yellow actually increased in sales last week (even though it decreased in chart position).

I meant on iTunes as well :P I'm pretty sure T/HWR has thus far almost exactly mirrored SITR/U and that never went top 10 - then again SITR/U seemed to be mirroring Telephone which did go top 10, so I suppose the only way to find out is to wait.

42. Look At Me Now (feat. Lil Wayne & Busta Rhymes) - Chris Brown

47. Next to You (feat. Justin Bieber) - Chris Brown

As much as I don't really like LAMN that damn Bieber song better not overtake it

^ The Justin Bieber song was almost top 20 on US iTunes last time I checked! :o

So we better be greatful! Haven't listened to it though. It could be good.

Thank god. Not very likely it's good :P.

The Chris/justin song is really good actually though I am a tad biased :P

Haha. Yeah, it could be worse.

I've heard four Justin Bieber songs, and I LOVE one, like two, and hate one, so going by that reasoning, there's a 25% chance I'll hate the song.
