Following his success of Ready For The Weekend, Calvin returns with new single "Awooga" due out this week. Radio 1 have seemingly ignored it for some bizarre reason.

Thoughts ????

Personally I'm unsure right now.

OK song but it's not mainstream enough - where has his singing gone? He was good back then. Hopefully this isn't his proper comeback and it's just a buzz single before he properly comes back

Yeah, I think it's a buzz single kind of thing. I should expect his comeback to be very soon though.

He did say he wasn't going to sing at all, but I thinking guest singers a la Mark Ronson and David Guetta... Not sure what to make of it tbh...
Well, being that there wasn't any vocals on it, I guess that's the reason Radio 1 hasn't really got into this (maybe they've, just in nighttime shows).

Or maybe it's one of those "On air on sale" songs so Radio 1 won't playlist it, until they see how well it does on itunes with little hype and see if there's interest in Calvin Harris still...
I need to say I rather like the track. :) Not the lead single material but exactly what is needed for the buzz single.

This is going to be the B-side to 'Bounce'. :cheer: I can't wait for 12th June to buy two great Calvin tracks. I forgot to chart this CHOON today but will do that next week :D Calvin is doing amazing this year
