March 20, 201114 yr You've only voted for 9 songs - you need a +15 as well. Sorted, I don't know why I only voted for 9 again. Sorry
March 20, 201114 yr The Verve are killing this so far :o I'm really surprised, I didn't expect so many people to love TDDW Then again it *is* a classic :kink:Please stop spoiling the results to anything like this. You do it most the time and it's very annoying.
March 20, 201114 yr Please stop spoiling the results to anything like this. You do it most the time and it's very annoying. Sorry... I'm just commenting on other people's votes, I wasn't aware this was against the rules.
March 20, 201114 yr Sorry... I'm just commenting on other people's votes, I wasn't aware this was against the rules. You're not just commenting on people's votes though, are you? You're sort of giving away the results particularly when you say "The Verve are killing this so far" which to me, suggests you're following the results and know who's winning, not winning and stuff. I probably misinterpreted it, but had you commented something like, "I'm pretty shocked The Verve are getting as much points as they are" or something then we wouldn't be having this convo.
March 20, 201114 yr It's not really a spoiler though, if your reading Bray's comments you're probably notice that 'The Drugs Don't Work' is getting high points from more voters than not. I'm sure people who don't want to know how the voting is going come in vote and then don't really look again.
March 20, 201114 yr Doesn't DanielGaga usually say what's doing well anyway? I mean, when I was running it, I never specifically said where songs were, but I remember he has done that in the past. I'm disappointed how Blur and White Town are doing :( I was expecting Blur to do crap because it's not well-known at all and doesn't have any appeal to most people who aren't fans of them, but I was actually hoping White Town would pick up a lot of points... WOAH at the Teletubbies chart run! That was monstrous back then! There were probably loads of copies reduced in the bargain bins :nocheer:

March 20, 201114 yr I must say i'm loving how anti-buzzjack this poll has been, never would I have imagined Oasis and The Prodigy beating the likes of the Spice Girls on Buzzjack +15 The Chemical Brothers ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’ +12 Hanson ‘Mmm Bop’ +10 Teletubbies ‘Teletubbies Say Eh-Oh!’ - the teletubbies were a key part of my life, I must vote for them :drama: +8 Will Smith ‘Men In Black’ +6 Aqua ‘Barbie Girl’ +5 Spice Girls ‘Mama/Who Do You Think You Are’ +4 Puff Daddy and Faith Evans ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ +3 R Kelly ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ +2 No Doubt ‘Don’t Speak’ +1 White Town ‘Your Woman’ -2 LL Cool J ‘Ain’t Nobody’- this was just bad- I still don't know how it got to number 1, just beats Elton John for my -2 I actually love all these, I know it pretty much destroys my credibility :drama: but I still love these songs, and I don't think I've heard BeetleBum and The Drugs Don't Work was pretty meh imo- it was criminal that that got to number 1 and Bittersweet Symphony didn't :( Edited March 20, 201114 yr by chart wizard

March 20, 201114 yr I actually love all these, I know it pretty much destroys my credibility :drama: but I still love these songs, and I don't think I've heard BeetleBum and The Drugs Don't Work was pretty meh imo- it was criminal that that got to number 1 and Bittersweet Symphony didn't :( Meh - I love Barbie Girl and the Spice Girls  Not heard Beetlebum :o FORSHAME! It was #1 on my 21st Birthday :P The Drugs Don't Work is a classic imo, although Bittersweet Symphony deserved it as much. TDDW got to #1 the day Princess Diana died, so it was pretty much overlooked :(

TDDW got to #1 the day Princess Diana died, so it was pretty much overlooked :( the only thing I've heard of it was that it was the shortest running number 1 hit ever  Song 2 and Parklife are their best imo The Drugs Don't Work is quite good actually, but it does seem strange that it got there and Bittersweet Symphony didn't, if you look at its status now, although it was beaten by the Spice Girls, so I guess it was just unlucky
