1996 has an amazing top 5  how long until we see the Spice Girls btw? :kink: Also, I do love "Baby" by Justin Bieber, it's actually really catchy  Don't hate me

Hello everyone :D Nicole looks certain to get #1 today, I just hope Adele is #2. Peter Kay & Susan Boyle will probably be #1 next week but if their physicals fail to deliver Adele should be back at the top. I like all 3 songs so it's win/win/win :D

Hoping to see Snoop & David top 20 and possibly Warren & Nate just scraping into the top 40? Also looking forward to seeing where Mann and Kanye have charted.

2001's top 10 is AMAZING!!!!!! Absolutely incredible! By far the best! And I still remember 8 of the 10 songs! :D So either my memory isn't as bad as I thought, or that truly is a classic top 10!

2010's top 10 is very poor imo. Starry Eyed and You Got the Dirtee Love are the only amazing songs in there. Although it was a massive top 2!! I have fond memories of that chart battle! All the drama on here!

Don't really know much 1996's to be honest. :( Nice #1 though. Much better than some of their recent material.

2006 has a very good top 10! :D Pump It, Beep, Red Dress, Touch the Sky and Sorry. All FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Also, the 2006 top 10 reminds me to give a special mention to Lupe Fiasco tbh!! From his humble beginnings, he's finally gotten a #1 album in the US (he's knocked Adele off #1 there :o). So congrats to him!!!

The Vaccines and The Overtones should be top 5, Michael Ball and The View top 10.

Haven't been following the charts that closely in recent weeks, what's with the big climb for the Overtones? I notice it has gone 55 - 43 - 36 in the last couple of weeks......

Edited by Shaky Fan

All three new entries in 1996 being from the alternative genre  Only could have happened back then! Garbage

Very boring retros this week apart from that. Ten years since Hear'Say... jeez, I still vividly remember watching their lame show they had on ITV1 that Sunday to see their reactions when they announced as the #1 (fake shock FTW!!! :nocheer: )

Tv advertising I would think.

The Overtones provided all the music for Dancing On Ice (they performed covers of the songs instead of the originals being played).

Alos they released a new version of GOFL this week I think. And the album is being advertised a lot on TV.

Hey everyone

I want Adele to stay at #1 today, but I don't think I will get my wish :(

Hello everyone, it's another sunny day

I'm supporting Nicole for the #1 this week (probably unsurprisingly) - the song, and the video where she gets undressed in a taxi, have my seal of approval

The Way To Your Love is FAR better than Pure and Simple. I actually bought that. Pure and Simple was always $h!te. I mean, it was a Girl Thing reject (waits for the cries of WHO?) - says it all :puke2:
I want Adele to stay at #1 today, but I don't think I will get my wish :(

I think she leave the top spot, the top 3 was getting painfully boring.. All good songs of course, but i'm glad we'll see some new songs replacing the old ones

This week's chart from 17 years ago:

01 (01) DOOP, Doop

02 (03) THE SIGN, Ace Of Base

03 (04) STREETS OF PHILADELPHIA, Bruce Springsteen

04 (02) WITHOUT YOU, MariaH Carey

05 (--) U R THE BEST THING, D:Ream

06 (05) GIRLS AND BOYS, Blur

07 (09) I LIKE TO MOVE IT, Reel 2 Real feat. The Mad Stuntman

08 (15) WHATTA MAN, Salt-N-Pepa with En Vogue

09 (11) SHINE ON, Degrees Of Motion feat. Biti

10 (--) DRY COUNTY, Bon Jovi

The full top 40 show from 20th March 1994 with Bruno Brookes now uploaded on my blog, as well as this week's full edition of Top Of The Pops, hosted by Robbie Williams and Mark Owen.
