You quite clearly don't know what you're talking about. Keane are generally album sellers nowadays with the recent exception of Night Train which was an EP anyway and still went #1.

lol, okay...?

I know Keane are generally album sellers, what did I say that was so wrong exactly? (other than the fact Strangeland would only be their 4th No.1 album, since Night Train is technically an EP, but still)

I disagree with the fact the album will drop massively next week. I can see it holding up at an acceptable level. I can't see it selling massively either though unless they can turnaround their relevance in the singles market which hasn't happened so far with lead single "Silenced by the Night".

I see, maybe i'd jumped the gun a bit on that one, just looking at the start of Perfect Symmetry's run: 1-6-12-19-30-39...I'd thought Strangeland would be even more frontloaded, along with the fact there's no relatively big singles behind it. I really do hope it has a half-decent chart run though

I agree that it'll fall pretty sharply, "Perfect Symmetry" was four years ago (their début was only four years old at that point, just as a point of comparison) and it preceded a pretty big single in "Spiralling". Its decline was exaggerated by the pre-Christmas market but then again "Night Train"'s wasn't.

EP Pre-orders:

43. Feel the Love (feat. John Newman) - Rudimental

65. Oliver Twist - D'Banj

71. Chasing the Sun - The Wanted

98. 30 Days - The Saturdays

154. The Power (feat. Dizzee Rascal) - DJ Fresh

170. Is This Love - Aiden Grimshaw

193. When She Was Mine - Lawson

Alum Pre-orders:

59. Looking 4 Myself (Deluxe Edition) - Usher

112. Rize of the Fenix - Tenacious D

166. Magic Hour - Scissor Sisters

Could Rudimental be looking at a top 10 hit? Its EP is doing incredibly well :o Not exactly an obvious hit I would have thought, always great to see DnB looking likely to do well though so I'll be cheering it on when it's released for sure. D'banj's EP is holding up well too. Could be next week's highest new entry ahead of The Saturdays! And good to see The Wanted's EP back in that top 100 and DJ Fresh back top 200.

Rudimental isnt released until the 27th may - 3 weeks away still - i think it s a serious contender for the no1 spot that week(although it will probably stall at 2). Its been on the alist on radio 1 since last week so that 4 weeks alist support before release!!

New EPs (just released):

1. 30 Days - EP - The Saturdays

5. Oliver Twist (Remixes) - EP - D'Banj

9. Only the Horses - EP - Scissor Sisters

39. Breathe (Remixes) - EP - Delilah

65. Give Your Heart a Break - EP - Demi Lovato

I was semi-expecting D'banj to come in a little bit higher but what you gonna do? Hoping it can be a decent sized hit.

Interested to see just how badly Delilah is going to do this week. Has she got an album out next week or anything? This must be her last chance after the disaster that was her last single. Positive for Scissor Sisters to be that high I guess?

No, her album isn't out till July! So I wonder if we will get another single before that?

I really hope Breathe can be some sort of hit, but I'm not expecting anything, especially after the amazing Love You So underperformed so much.

Breathe is not the most chart friendly song out there. And while she has support from Radio 1, I don't think any other stations are playing her.
