May 21, 201114 yr Author He's been shooting a video with Bieber for Next 2 U :D.. Colin Tilley is the director of course Any ideas on what he may release in the UK next ? He seems to have done quite a few videos.. Saw one for Should've Kissed You earlier too
May 21, 201114 yr I saw a video for She Ain't You aswell. It's a really good song. I honestly don't have a clue what he might release next in the UK tbh. I don't think he should release Next 2 You, because, whilst I do like the song, Justin Bieber being on it will really hinder its potential success imo. :( Maybe even Look At Me Now. Although that's perhaps too old to release now. It's been hanging around in the iTunes top 100 for months. I hope releases one of the more urban songs, because Yeah 3x and Beautiful People are both leaning quite far in the pop direction (although I suppose he had an urban song through Champion). I think he's filming a video with T-Pain sometime soon too for Best Love Song (although I know it's not on Chris's album). Edited May 21, 201114 yr by Eric_Blob
May 21, 201114 yr Author Yeh I posted the She Ain't You video on the last page Look At Me Now wouldn't do well over here imo. I'd like something like Oh My Love or Say It With Me
May 21, 201114 yr Why do people keep saying look at me now won't do well here I know its to late to realse it now but all my friends love it and when is played at parties I go to people love it as well
May 21, 201114 yr Why do people keep saying look at me now won't do well here I know its to late to realse it now but all my friends love it and when is played at parties I go to people love it as well I don't know really, it just wouldn't. I think it could've gone top 10, but it wouldn't have been half the hit that Beautiful People is at the moment. Not just in the UK, but Europe as a whole. Even What's My Name? flopped in a lot of Europe, and Look At Me Now is even more urban than that. Obviously 16 year-old males will love the song to bits, even in the UK, but I don't think that's representative of the general population's view on that type of song. Based on the charts, people in the UK like songs in a nice verse/chorus structure, with a powerful melodious hook, with a "full" beat, where instruments (synthesizers, brass or strings) are the main essence of the beat. Look At Me Now has a chanted chorus and singing for just a few seconds in the entire song. The beat has many sections in it which are just percussion, and so on. I just can't see a song like this becoming a massive hit here, even though this is the sort of thing that's considered radio-friendly in the US, but in the UK radio-friendly is Price Tag. I think Look At Me Now would've done better in the UK charts in like 2005/2006 time.
May 21, 201114 yr I think Next 2 U would do well in the UK actually, it's quite UK friendly plus the two combined fanbases could get it top 5 :D
May 21, 201114 yr Well, it's just I'm thinking Chris Brown fans already have the song on the album and Justin Bieber fans cherry-picked the song when it was released (it almost went top 20 on iTunes).
June 16, 201114 yr Next 2 U is the next UK single :D http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a32...o-premiere.html
June 18, 201114 yr I can't believe I like a song with Justin in it. That video is superb, reminds me of the 'Superhuman' video but much better. I think 'Next To You' could be really big in the UK.
June 18, 201114 yr Excellent video. Quite powerful, really like the emotion and effects. Hoping it can go top 5 in the UK, and maybe even some Justin haters will appreciate it.
June 19, 201114 yr Author Really glad this is the next single :D Should be another Top 10 & big seller !
June 20, 201114 yr I dunno if the Rihanna thing still bothers me, or his music is REALLY lacking. But I'm just not into any of these songs.
June 20, 201114 yr I love this song, never been a fan of Justin Bieber but Chris collaborates very well with other artist to the point, that I can say it's the first song with JB I have on my ipod  I hope it's a hit over here
June 26, 201114 yr There should be a Chris Brown forum. I hate the fact his discography is all over the place. :( Check out the Wikipedia page, he has Deuces and No BS released from some EP (even though they're included on the album) which were only released in a few countries, then Yeahx3 was released worldwide, then the US and some other country or two got 'She Ain't You' and 'Look At Me Now', the UK and most of Europe got 'Beautiful People' and 'Next 2 U'' and then some songs have charted everywhere due to cherry picking plus he has tons of collaborations and stuff. :o But i've been visiting his older stuff and I must say I quite like 'Wall To Wall'. :)
June 26, 201114 yr ^ Yeah, it seems he's basically releasing the urban songs (e.g. Look At Me Now, She Ain't You) in the US, and the pop song (e.g. Yeah 3x, Beautiful People) in the UK and Europe. Although I think Next 2 You is being released everywhere, for a change.
June 27, 201114 yr Author I don't think he's got enough fans on here for him to have his own forum. Most of the threads would probably end up being about Rihanna or how he's smashed another window He won BET Awards yesterday for: Best Male R&B Artist Best Collaboration for Look At Me Now Viewers Choice for Look At Me Now
July 1, 201114 yr Addicted to 'Next 2 U' right now. It's BRILLIANT. I think this could potentially be this years 'No Air'. It deserves to be. I also think this song could appeal to those outside of their fan base a little too.
November 1, 201113 yr Author I did think She Ain't You was a good single choice, but I'm not too keen on it now. Maybe because the song's a little overplayed for me now ?
