I know greece is very low but is there any chart that you need extremely Low Low sales toget #1

I guess Luxembourg?

And a couple of years ago there was a point where you could chart in France selling like 10 copies or something, but that was the singles chart (which only counted physicals at the time).

Ellie G has gotten a lot more good looking of late, I would   Cheryl Cole IS used to be good looking, but I've gone majorly off her of late -_- Kylie still looks amazing for her age

Correction.

She still has the same face and she looks a lot healthier lately since she's gained weight.

I've gone off Shakira (until the old Shakira is back) but she's still as beautiful now as she was when I was more interested in her.

And it's still the same, they have two separate singles chart, the physical chart and the digital chart and the physical chart is still the the official one... (or it was like this until last year), the digital chart is bigger though but not official.

The Spanish single chart was like the French one, you only needed to sell 20 copies to be number 1  It's still a bit $h!t in Spain, around 750-1000 to be number 1.

I remember the times where it wasn't that strange to sell 750,000 - 1,000,000 albums, I think the Spice Girls were the last international artist that sold more than 1,000,000 in Spain, other artists like Alejandro Sanz, David Bisbal, Rosana, La Oreja de Van Gogh, etc managed to sell more than 1,000,000 at the start of the 2000s... those were the years

Talking about Shakira and the Spanish charts, didn't she spend like 4 months at #1 in Spain with Waka Waka! I remember it anyway, because I really wanted Eminem and Rihanna to get #1 in as many countries as possible, but Waka Waka just wasn't budging in Spain! :drama:

I think Shakira's next album is actually being released in the UK in a couple of days, if I'm not mistaken. We were talking in this thread a couple of weeks about how Shakira's been not as present as we would like in out charts since She Wolf. :( It'll be interesting to see if Loca can get back in the top 1000 on iTunes next week. :nocheer:

In other news, Katy B down to #10. Positive thing I guess is that Snoop Dogg should get back in, but Broken Record is also deserving of the longevity that Katy B's other singles had imo. :(

Errr, where have you been? The French singles chart now incorporates both downloads AND physical sales.

Yeah, that's what I thought (although they did keep saying they were going to add downloads, only for them not to a few times ).

Although, to be fair, Carlos did say "Or it was like this until last year", which is true.

Anyone know what new releases are getting added at midnight?

I think the only notable one is T-Pain/Chris Brown. I doubt it'll do very well. Will probably chart at like #80 or something officially, but could mean Chris Brown gets 5 top 100 hits next week (Yeah 3x, Champion, Look At Me Now, Beautiful People).

Thanks :D - Looks like it will be another boring singles chart next week then!

Possibly. Unless there's any really fast climbers or something.

Katy B's album is released aswell. I except the 5 most cherry-picked songs to be probably Katy On a Mission, Witches Brew, Broken Record, Lights On and Perfect Stranger, perhaps? Maybe Easy Please Me, since it's another Magnetic Man collab?

lol, thank you Eric. I followed the French charts until last year, it's such a coincidence they changed the rules this year.

And about Shakira spending 4 months, I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised, it was the most downloaded track in 2010 with around 230,000 singles sold... nearly 100,000 copies more than the second most downloaded song -_-

Edit: I checked it, the song spent 17 weeks at the top of Promusicae (Spanish singles chart)

Gosh. It is a nice song, but 17 weeks is a bit much! :o I wouldn't be able to cope with that!

Don't you like Shakira and/or Waka Waka then? :( I think it had like one week in the top 20 or something here, so perhaps you might've preferred that! It was in the top 40 for ages though!

It's almost 2:30 and I'd rather be on here than sleep :P anyway the e.t video is still getting a lot of plays on the music channels, I saw it three times in one hour on the SAME music channel :S hopefully it'll be top 5? :)
Seriously? :(

So J-Lo could get another week at #1?

Better that, than LMFAO. :(

Didn't the E.T. video get released like a couple of days ago or something? Your post makes it sound like it came out 2 months ago or something! I'm actually surprised it's already getting any plays on music channels. I'd love it to get to #1! :)

E.T.'s climbing pretty slowly don't you think? The video has had 9 million views in Youtube worldwide in three days which better than Gaga's Born This Way managed in five.

Not really. E.T. is climbing pretty much exactly as I expected tbh.

The album version should get top 10 soon, as it'll overtake Sweat and Broken Record will be falling.

Nice boring chart this week, hardly any new releases, but might see the odd climbers, I think the new NOW album is out this week or next week, not too sure.

The only notable new entry could come from The Joy Formidable its got a physical + Downloads which might just scrape the bottom end of the top 40.

Hopefully Katy B can climb up the chart with Broken Record, I expect J-Lo will get a second week at the top, unless LMFAO grab it.

Morning update: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=3505176

No new entries yet in the top 300 :o

That's because there are no significant new releases. :P This could be the first time there are no new entries in the top 40 outside of the Christmas period... ever? Although there'll likely be at least one song climbing into the top 40. I'd actually like to see a top 40 where nothing leaves and it's all just shuffled a bit though :kink:
