Looks like J-Lo will be spending another week at the top. :D Absolutely made up for her. STILL not bored of 'On The Floor'. Her new track has really grown on me now too.

Weekend Effect?

What am I missing here - I thought OTF was her new track?

I was talking about her second single, 'I'm Into You' Featuring. Lil Wayne.

Gosh. It is a nice song, but 17 weeks is a bit much! :o I wouldn't be able to cope with that!

Don't you like Shakira and/or Waka Waka then? :( I think it had like one week in the top 20 or something here, so perhaps you might've preferred that! It was in the top 40 for ages though!

I loved Shakira, I still like her somehow... but I don't like her new music, I preferred her at the start of her career with "Inevitable", "Estoy Aquí", "Te dejo Madrid" etc. And Spain won the World Cup so I have to listen to the f***ing song everywhere even if I didn't want to

Oh yeah, of course, you won the world cup! No wonder the song was so massive then! :o

Will there be any solo singles on her new album?

So you don't have to listen to any of the "urban rubbish" you hate so much?

Damn - I hoped I was being subtle enough there. :P

Seriously though, I don't hate all urban music, just one particular genre of it...

'I'm Into You' sounds like 'What's My Name?' in the first verse, and the intro sort of. And kinda the chorus.

Look At Me Now down to #45, Beautiful People up to #43! :o

So first wee Next To You charted highest, the week after Look At Me Now charted highest, then the week after Beautiful People will chart highest. How peculiar. I don't think I've seen this happen with an album before! :o

Beautiful People  I guess there has to be at least 1 new entry next week that could be it, as SuBo/Comic Relief has to disappear from the 40 as the track has plummeted down the chart, unless Cee Lo Green has a sudden surge with FU

It could be. Although Look At Me Now was top 40 on iTunes the entire week, even getting top 30 briefly, and missed the top 40 officially, so Beautiful People will probably have to climb quite high to make it. :(

It is strange though, Beautiful People is the 3rd single, but it already has a music video (but last time I checked, it was viewed less than a million times on youtube), and it's getting a tiny bit of airplay (Radio 1Xtra have it on their playlist, for example). Not to mention, Beautiful People is a more UK-friendly song, seeing as it's euro-pop-esque.

It's a good song though, in my opinion. In this review they compared it to Kylie's material, so you might like it a bit more than the average Chris Brown song (although, granted, Chris Brown isn't quite as hot as Kylie ).

As a lover and an artist, Brown will wear any mask to get what he wants — sex, street cred or radio redemption. As much as he cycles from a sexually confident tough guy on “Look at Me Now” to simpering romantic on “Should’ve Kissed You,” he also churns through several modes on “F.A.M.E.” Overall, the album leaves not an impression of one singular style but of the great effort required to mix and match so many times. “Beautiful People,” with its powdered-sugar synths and dance floor positivity, is almost a Kylie Minogue song. With a few shifts in production values, “All Back” could have easily found itself in the coffers of Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood.
