That having been said, I do quite enjoy the actual song ^_^

Seems like they took the best part out of the song lol.

So I actually really, REALLY like it...

 

The second part of the chorus is particularly strong. I don't see it being a massive hit (mostly down to their reputation as a band now) but I don't see it completely bombing. It certainly doesn't deserve to anyway, it's far stronger than anything on 'Sweet 7' and has a more distinctive sound. I'm not one for comparisons generally, but it's heaps and bounds above 'All Fired Up'.

 

Their best single in years for me.

I really like it on first listen, as Cremey said, their best single in years, for me since 'Denial'. I hope that the breakdown will still be included in the full song, and that in this radio premiere it was cut out.

 

Ridiculous that it was premiered on a local radio station with no build-up whatsoever.

Very strong song actually, I agree it's their best since Denial! Shame it won't do much (low top 10 at best) as it's better than Collide and probably All About Tonight. All Fired Up is my fave of the Sept 4 release though.

It's being released on Sep 19th.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot that :lol: I do remember it being pushed back now! Still won't get much than about number 7 sadly :(

I'm predicting something similar to 'Notorious'. The only thing that would make this a hit at that time, would be to release it at 59p. It could actually go top 5 if that were to happen. But record companies are too stingy.

 

The song though is very good! Can't wait for the video!

I would say their best single in two years but that's not tough is it? Haha. It's at least a 7.5/10 though, potential for more when they HQ appears.

 

The 7th Heaven remix is tremendous fun.

It's very good! Much better than I was expecting, feels a bit empty in places but it's still decent and feels like it could be a huge grower. Could do with a little more oomph though maybe lol. I really can't see it being a huge hit though - it premiering on a local radio station and gathering no buzz at all isn't a good sign of what's to come now is it?!

I think this is just brilliant. About a Girl was genius but this is superb! Jades ocals are outstanding on this. Top 5 easily i think.

Although I haven't heard it yet I think the premiering on local radio stations is a good idea garnering interest from the bottom up like new bands tend to do. Anyway if it gets A-List on Radio 1 does it matter how it premiers?
