April 30, 201114 yr Well that was a little galling to watch, if not terribly surprising. Did Amanda Holden REALLY stop someone from singing their very own composition because she wanted to hear him sing a generic cover instead? Says it all really.
April 30, 201114 yr Really haven't been into this series. Hopefully I'll like it a bit more once the live shows start
April 30, 201114 yr Well that was a little galling to watch, if not terribly surprising. Did Amanda Holden REALLY stop someone from singing their very own composition because she wanted to hear him sing a generic cover instead? Says it all really. Precisely. "Oh dear, I can't judge a singer if I don't know the song. My brain's starting to hurt." Of course the alternative is that it was all staged and meant to get the audience on his side but perhaps that's me being cynical
April 30, 201114 yr that was really disappointing - Ronan was good, I can't deny that- but I'm bored of these types of singers, he doesn't stand out the rest weren't that noteworthy, except I did like the group from Oxford, the old guy was talented, but it was all so staged, and he wasn't that good a singer oh and 7 year old girl saying a poem with a snake round her neck- where exactly is the talent there?

No doubt he'll probably get to the final
April 30, 201114 yr Yeh it's always the same thing every year with these young kids coming on and singing these big songs. No doubt he'll probably get to the final He did have a very good voice though and surprisingly powerful for someone so slight. He was also closer to the sort of range that he will be able to hit when his voice breaks than a lot of boys his age. The poor lad was shaking like a leaf before he started singing
April 30, 201114 yr Were The Underground Dance Company a tribute to Edward Scissorhands. I think so  Any dance troupe needs to do something outstanding to beat the likes of Diversity and we haven't seen that yet.
April 30, 201114 yr Olivia from last year >>>>>>>>>>>>> Ronan. Not actually seen tonight's show (will do tommorow) but I looked up this Ronan kid after hearing good things about him - don't think he's anything special  He won't win.
May 1, 201114 yr Shareen part II. He won't win either like Shareen didn't (despite being better than Shareen). But I too am bored of seeing these kids belt out big/songs older than their parents just for added "wow" factor. But 'Feeling Good' is a massive song to get right and he pretty much nailed it. My favourite though, were OUT OF THE BLUE!
May 1, 201114 yr Just caught up - what is wrong with this series  Cute as that girl at the beginning was, if someone 3 times her age or more did the same they'd have been buzzed. The rest were OK at best. Apart from Out Of The Blue - my favorite act of the series thus far! As I said in my last post, I don't think Ronan is anything special.
May 1, 201114 yr where exactly is the talent there? That's exactly what I was thinking when I looked at my TV screen and saw some middle aged woman badly dancing to the Grease theme tune - and they voted her THROUGH to the next round. :o :o :o :drama: :drama: :o :o :o (yes, I really do have to add so many smilies to emphasise how bad it was). Highlight for me were those Oxford Uni students doing "posh pop". Also agree about the young boy at the end - excellent without doubt but a case of "been there, done that, bought the t-shirt". :(

May 1, 201114 yr oh God, yes, I forgot about her - it wasn't even entertaining, it was just $h!t  Actually, she would make an excellent winner. Just imagine what the Queen would be thinking as this woman spends 5 minutes getting up after doing the splits. :D Who needs Diversity, Susan Boyle, Spelbound and "posh pop" Oxford Uni students when this is the future of Britsh entertainment? :D
May 1, 201114 yr Recorded last nights show and I'm not kidding, I got through it in like 15 minutes skipping the adverts and pathetic crappy stories.
May 1, 201114 yr oh and 7 year old girl saying a poem with a snake round her neck- where exactly is the talent there? Maybe the snake was a ventriloquist? Kath
May 1, 201114 yr oh and 7 year old girl saying a poem with a snake round her neck- where exactly is the talent there? I don't think she'll make the live shows. She clearly isn't going to win and I don't think they'll want to risk showing her losing on live television.
May 2, 201114 yr Maybe the snake was a ventriloquist? Kath I have to admit, that's one talented snake. :D
May 2, 201114 yr This series has been awful so far, I haven't even liked any acts very much at all :(
May 5, 201114 yr Haven't watched this at all but from the sounds of it I'm not missing too much. A girl reading a poem with a snake around her neck......and she got through? Edited May 5, 201114 yr by Sabrewulf
