April 10, 201115 yr One of the few songs that sounds different to anything else in the Top 40, and they skip it two weeks running. If it was an R&B Track Reggie would have played it. Why would Reggie have played it if it was RnB? :unsure: Plus, Reggie hates Best Love Song, Ridin' Solo and Sweat, which are urban. Reggie doesn't automatically like all urban songs. And I don't think he decides what to play anyway.

April 10, 201115 yr 'Champion' should be Chris Brown feat Chipmunk as Chris does all choruses plus he raps the 2nd verse. Chipmunk's new song is better - he is more in the song and Keri Hilson is also in the song (I'm not a fan of hers but her chorus is better than Chris Brown's). Hopefully it goes top 40 next week I remember Chris saying in an interview that he didn't want to just be the guy that sings choruses and so wanted to add his own verse in.. which probably meant Chipmunk had to cut down his own parts There's a longer version on Chipmunk's album though, where I believe he raps for longer.

Ridin' Solo is nowhere near "urban" or "R&B" - it's not much more than a little more grown up Bieber song. Listen to it now 12 months on in isolation and see how weak it is other than the catch line. Why don't you think he decides what to play? He's the "talent", they usually have a large input into the running order and to be honest as this show gets more and more childish his fingerprints become clearer and clearer.

April 10, 201115 yr I hate this song, why is it taking so long to leave :( Because people are still buying the song :P But anyway, I wouldn't buy it, but it's a good song and it's nice to have something different (in a good way) in the charts. This is a really bad time for indie yet this has done really well. '5 Years Time' is still theyre best song imo
