Sorry Bray completely forgot

Thanks anyway for reminding me.

Good to Adele still in the Top5!

20. Turning Tables (Glee Cast Version) [feat. Gwyneth Paltrow] - Glee Cast

 Judging by the fact the Adele song of the same title is #51... FFS Glee stop going near the good artists! They'll be covering The Cave or Little Lion Man next (I actually wouldn't be surprised to see that :()

Other Glee songs:

24. All By Myself (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

47. Ain't No Way (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

55. Somewhere Only We Know (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

73. I Follow Rivers (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

124. What Kind of Fool (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

I hope for my own sanity I Follow Rivers isn't what I think it is either

EDIT: It is :( How the hell do the producers of Glee even KNOW about Lykke Li is what I wonder, let alone why they thought it'd be okay to no doubt MURDER I Follow Rivers

I'd be annoyed about them covering Keane also but SOWK is a crap song anyway.

SOWK and WKOF don't seem to be in the most recent episode according to Wikipedia? SOWK is apparently in the next episode and WKOF doesn't show up anywhere. Not sure why they've been released but I've included them in the little update thing above anyway.

Bray, WKOF and SOWK on on the Glee Warblers album :) SOWK is being performed on the next US ep, but WKOF will not be performed at all. And the IFR cover is AWFUL, even as a huge Gleek :( Lykke obv. sings it FAR better!

Turning Tables #48

Not sure why Gwyneth Paltrow went anywhere near that song (#19) but like the exposure. :)

Well, the episode was titled 'A Night of Neglect', where they did songs by artists they consider 'under appreciated', which fits Lykke Li I think. Not so much Adele, but I guess her US success (although still a big album & more than most UK acts do), isn't as big as in the UK, and they hadn't covered her before so I guess people could argue that she fits that.

What a stupid episode idea. Can't they just stick to covering terrible songs?

They won't stop until they've covered every bloody song in recorded history.

There should be an episode called "You Call The Shots" where we can send in requests for songs to be covered.

"On next week's Glee, the cast cover "Firestarter", "Killing In The Name" and "Flatbeat" by Mr Oizo.

S&M sold 293,000

ET 284, 000

oooh, has Katy passed on airplay????

Katy's airplay is at 130M while Rihanna's at 129M. not sure when it stopped counting.

But DefJam has announced on their newsletter that Rihanna is #1 with 'S&M' ^_^

[sarcasm]They would be amazing at singing KITN  If they covered Flatbeat who would be Flat Eric?[/sarcasm]

Really amazing - Rihanna will go down as one of the greats now that she's achieved things only done by (females only - obviously males have done this) Mariah Carey, Madonna, Whitney, Janet. She is the FIFTH female to have 10 or more Billboard Number Ones. Go RiRi!!!

39  Jennifer Lopez - Papi

 didn't expect it to keep climbing

I wonder if Charice is doing any promotion for Before it Explodes it peaked at 132 and is back down to 135.

Oh my gosh!!!! Rihanna #1!!!!! :w00t: :w00t: :cheer: :cheer:  Yay!

And Britney got credited too! :D Her 2nd #1 this year, and it's only April! :o

I, personally thought the idea of the episode was brilliant. However, the episode really wasn't as good as it could have been.

Tina's version of 'I Follow Rivers' (I seem to be in the minority) is fantastic! Also, Gwyneth surprisingly does a very decent job on 'Turning Tables'. Obviously not as good as Adele's version, but it's still really well done.
