Glee Cast get their 107th-111th hits with Tik Tok (originally by Ke$ha) at #45, Don't You Want Me (originally by The Human League) at #47, Blame It (On The Alcohol) [originally by Jamie Foxx feat. T-Pain] at #67 and Loser Like Me (an original song!!!) at #80.

How many of those have reached Top 75? As I'm dealing with Top 75 in my own blog and archives.

Sorry :P A quick rejig of my spreadsheet deleting any with a peak of 76 or higher says 78 have made the top 75.

Thanks! So they are halfway there :P (Elvis has 152 I remember) but they have had the most Top 75 entries without number one for a while now.

Stealing the crown from Depeche Mode I believe :(

In case you didn't notice my blinding mathematical error their 4 additional top 100 hits this week puts their tally up to 110, not 111.

I'm really suprised at Charlie Simpson missing the Top 75 as he was around the 45-50 mark on iTunes for most of the week - Also Rebecca Black dropping 10 places to #72 as she was as high as #40 and then in the Top 45 for 3/4 days on iTunes.

Top 100s now posted.

So, new/re-entries on the singles chart:

  • Lady GaGa gets her 16th hit (14th as lead artist) with Judas at #14.
  • Arctic Monkeys get their 12th hit with Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair at #28.
  • The Wombats get their 9th hit with Anti-D at #42.
  • Glee Cast get their 107th-110th hits with Tik Tok (originally by Ke$ha) at #45, Don't You Want Me (originally by The Human League) at #47, Blame It (On The Alcohol) [originally by Jamie Foxx feat. T-Pain] at #67 and Loser Like Me (an original song!!!) at #80.
  • Tracy Chapman re-enters at #58 with 1988 #5 hit Fast Car (the first of four hits by her) following its use on Britain's Got Talent.
  • Emily Osment gets her first hit with Lovesick entering at #67. She plays Lilly in Hannah Montana. Why do all these Disney actresses have to force a singing career upon us all?
  • New Boyz get their first hit with Backseat (feat. The Cataracs and Dev) at #79. It's the second hit for both featured artists, The Cataracs and Dev having previously appeared as features on Far*East Movement's Like A G6.
  • Charlie Simpson of Busted and Fightstar gets his first hit as a solo artist with Down Down Down at #81.
  • Olly Murs re-enters at #83 with the third of his four hits, Thinking Of Me. The song is one of a handful which climb or re-enter this week due to being cherrypicked from the compilation Now That's What I Call Music! 78.
  • Ellie Goulding re-enters at #85 with the sixth of her seven hits, Your Song, for the same reason.
  • Bruno Mars gets his 7th hit with The Lazy Song at #86.
  • Chase & Status get their 7th hit with Time (feat. Delilah) at #90. It is Delilah's first hit.
  • Take That re-enter at #93 with the latest of their 28 hits, Happy Now.
  • Jessie J re-enters at #97 with the latest of her four hits, Nobody's Perfect.
  • Finally, P!nk re-enters at #99 with the 23rd of her 24 hits (if my counting skills have served me correctly), Raise Your Glass.

Lady Gaga has 16 hits already!?! :o

Yes.

She has her own 9 singles, featured appearances on Wale's Chillin and Beyoncé's Video Phone, then the other 5 are album tracks - Beautiful, Dirty Rich charted at #83, then on the release week of TFM she made the top 100 with 3 album tracks (Monster at #68, So Happy I Could Die at #84 and Dance In The Dark at #89) then Speechless made #88 a couple of weeks later.

They're not really 'hits' but still :P

Oh yeah, of course.

Also, did Dance in the Dark re-enter the top 100 at one point? I remember a remix of it charted very high on iTunes once.

No, it didn't. Alejandro did though. It then started to climb anyway because its airplay was increasing.

Thanks. :) I checked and it appeared to peak at #55 on iTunes the week it charted top 100 (in December 2009), and then it got to #67 on iTunes in May 2010, so probably wasn't far off the top 100. :)

Many of last week's new entries on the album chart have dropped straight out of the top 100 (The Blackout, The Pigeon Detectives and The Kills dropped from 27, 30 and 40 respectively to out of the top 100). This is the effect low sales has. I'd expect Metronomy and TV On The Radio to drop out from 28 and 33 respectively this week.
