For a song thats getting hardly any radio airplay, that also has no video yet, nor had any promotion, its holding up rather well. It'll be Top 10 again next week anyway, mark my words...

What an AWFUL Top 3. Infact the Top 10 is awful (Bar JLO, Bey, Snoop and Katy).

 

I don't think it's that bad. I like #1, I LOVE #3, and #2 isn't great, but there's been worse.

 

I actually don't full-on hate any of the songs in the current top 10! :o

If Bruno knocks LMFAO off #1, i'll go to bed happy Sunday night :) (I know its not likely, considering it's not #1 (yet) and its Tuesday night.)

Next week's Glee won't have much effext on the charts. There are two obscure covers of Lykke Li and a random Aretha Franklin song, plus an All By Myself cover (interestingly it's sung by Sunshine - for non-Gleeks she's played by Charice, the girl who sang Pyramid) and Turning Tables by Adele is also sung (by ever present 'guest' star Gwenyth Paltrow's character Holly). TT will deffo go top 40 I think and should give the original a slight boost, but the others won't trouble the top 40.

Loser Like Me will get top 15 securely and Get It Right will be close behind - though if they climb at the rate are and don't fall *too* much then top 10 for LLM or even maybe both (optimistic - but GIR may still be top 15) may be possible! :o

The episode 'Born This Way' is the Monday after next. Before that (this coming Monday) is 'Night Of Neglect'. :)

It'd be great to see Britney get another T20 hit even if it means having to release a remix. Her third single, if she even releases one, will be lucky to go T40.

 

And on the topic on Bruno, his video isn't that great, but at least it doesn't have him playing a piano or walking a piano :lol: but it's selling because it's more summery than Chris Brown's BP and Bruno is more popular (like I said a few posts ago).

 

It's sad to see GaGa at 21 yet Beyonce holds up well at 7. I'm not sure if even with a video release the GaGa can fully recover and make Judas the big hit it was meant to be

i think the video for 'The Lazy Song' is the key to its success - its a charming video and works well to increase the songs potential that does take quite a few listens to get into

Still I think it's a bit strange how a video with Bruno and 5 people with monkey faces is so popular, yet Lady G's BTW video didn't shoot it up to the top and it only climbed a few places. Sometimes less is more and simple videos can be great

Looks to me like LLM will do a SITR/U / T/HWR and just miss the top 20 but then have some longevity (compared to other Glee songs at least. GIR about the same.

Except LLM has 2 versions so it could possibly get top 20 (its number 16 and 46)

A version at 16 and a version at 46 is surely about the same as just the one version at #11? So I don't think that'll make a difference.
