Wow, like I said (sarcastically :P) last page, she's at the height of relevance... Meh!

Rebecca Black would've been a stroke of GENIUS. Katy is very tongue-in-cheek so she would easily have gotten away with featuring a "novelty act", and reaped the rewards. Missy is so tired and old and desperate.

If I'm not mistaken, 3PM PDT is 11PM for UK time, which was the time listed on the paper Katy Perry tweeted.

EDIT: Go to tinychat.com/kathybethterry to watch, Rebecca Black just came online.

If you didn't watch it, Kathy said they should top their previous party, and Rebecca said if she was in the studio with a big name she would keep it a secret, which Kathy replied with 'is that a hint?'.

I'd rather actually ENJOY the remix that gets the song to number 1, rather than download it for the sake of the chart and never listen to it again. Missy Elliott may not be the most relevant choice, but at least she has talent and the potential to make a great remix.

Some news

There is some sort of EP being planned, where the Rebecca Black version will be on

Apparently Katy wants to release "Peacock" next, the label want a re-release and if not, "Hummingbird Heartbeat".

The Missy version of "TGIF" is apparently very in vein of the "TTWE" remix where the rap is at the beginning and the saxophone break has been taken out.

I'd prefer a re-release but if I had to choose a single, I'd pick Hummingbird Heartbeat or The One that Got Away - Peacock just would be embaressing (though I must admit it would be a good video! :L)

So there IS a Missy Elliott and a Rebecca Black remix ? I'd prefer on with all 3 of them, like TTWE :D

NOT 'Peacock'! Just NOT 'Peacock'! 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' is one of my favourites (along with 'The One That Got Away') so I would LOVE that as a release. (Although I'd prefer the latter.) JUST NOT 'PEACOCK'!
The first verse is pretty good and kind of fits with the song, but the second verse/breakdown by Missy ruins it for me. :(
I'm scared to click on it tbh

No Katy, that can't be whats going to get you to #1 in the US :(

I'd like 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' next please. I keep being insistent that we don't want a re-release, just move on after the next single. Don't get the fuss with 'The One That Got Away' either, would be my least favourite if it wasn't for the DREADFUL 'Peacock'.

Wow, I take back what I said about enjoying the remix... that breakdown. What the HELL was that??
I don't mind it, not a patch on the original mind. Also it feels like it was hurriedly put together on Audacity or something...
Well it's on iTunes, 69 cents at that. Good decision on their part, no one's going to buy this at full price. Anyway, it'll shoot right up come tomorrow morning...

I just downloaded the iTunes version and it's much better than the YouTube video (which doesn't work now!) where the pitch had been changed.

I'd give it a 7/10. Is it not even top 100 on iTunes yet? :/ That's worrying.

It's barely top 200. I think it'll boost if iTunes puts some kind of banner or link on the home page by tomorrow. Otherwise it'll end up unknown except to her fans, like Best Thing I Never Had.

199. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) [feat. Missy Elliott] - Katy Perry

She's fell to #7 with the main version. #27 with the remix.

That makes her #2 combined with 76% (LMFAO #4 with 66%).

She just might do this! :)
