April 13, 20169 yr Author You know what, I even thought it was quite NDNTN as I was sending it. Fingers crossed that's a good thing.
July 7, 20169 yr i just found out Rex The Dog is JX and had to post somewhere about it, its one of those facts that made me like ??!?!?
August 12, 20168 yr I am so in love with this entry - what a beauty! The song weirdly reminds me of Tracy Ullman - They Don't Know, I think that's just down to the production sounding wedding bell-esque like that song too  You've been on top form these past couple of months (maybe 'cause both of these entries have been cat related)! Hope this sails through to the final.
August 12, 20168 yr Author Awww thank you Jade, really pleased you like it. ^_^ I'm just trying this year to send tracks that aren't too similar to other things I've already sent in the hope that they will appeal to different tastes and countries. Fall On Me is one of my favourites of hers primarily due to the (I assume intentional) similarity to Suede who were one of my absolute favourite acts in the 90s but I can hear the parts that remind you of Tracey Ullman now you've mentioned it. And ha, hadn't noticed the cat themes across both but yaycats.
August 13, 20168 yr I hear (a more vocally powerful) Sophie Ellis Bexter, especially on 'in your way'. Wonderful stuff, as I've come to expect from Fljótavík.
August 13, 20168 yr i've just realised that what this reminds me of with all of the bells is 'Rill Rill' for some reason????

August 13, 20168 yr Author I'd assumed as much, as they say the first word of the song is 'Trash' so that seemed too much of a coincidence. I really quite like their other material too, my playlist of choice goes: Why I Wait I'll Be Your Girl Fall On Me Like a Stranger Chinatown Church G# Doubt Cut It Out Kill The Light Steal The Night Lia
August 29, 20177 yr I just heard your entry for this month, and what an absolute bop you've discovered! 15 woots!
August 29, 20177 yr Author I had to do a double take just then as my thread never gets bumped! Glad you liked it Wardy ^_^ edit: I probably actually ought to include it somewhere in here for future reference! Rzfa9jGLlKY *wolf whistles* Edited August 30, 20177 yr by dandy*
August 29, 20177 yr I had to do a double take just then as my thread never gets bumped! Glad you liked it Wardy ^_^ Maybe you should use it more often! :P I had to go through a few pages to find it!
August 30, 20177 yr I'll just bump this again as well to say this is your best entry since Space Above for me I think!! Think and hope this could be a big hit.
August 30, 20177 yr 'Feria Festival' is wonderful! Totally agree with your comment that it sounds like a mix of Aeroche and Pupok because I adore it and it gives me entry envy for sure.
August 30, 20177 yr Author Oh wow, thank you both! As you'll probably know, I'm not always a fan of this sort of music but there's something about this one that I find really joyous - plus I adore the middle section where it uses that typical 90s house sound. Especially pleased you like it Lewwww, as king of this sort of entry it feels akin to royal approval! :D
October 24, 20177 yr Author #FLJ100 Someone's coming back. Someone who nobody would ever have asked for. Here to annoy all you plugdjers. I've always been a fan of eurovision interval acts over eurovision entrants. Edited October 29, 20177 yr by dandyman* 🐝🐝
October 29, 20177 yr Which songs are included in this? Currently listening to it and I am enjoying this a lot more than I individually liked both of their previous entries, neither of which I was really that crazy about! (I have no idea where to rank this among the semi though really )
October 29, 20177 yr Author Glad someone is enjoying it! I did try to make it feel like one piece of music in the sense that classical music has variations but is ultimately one piece. It's a shame that it's ended up causing a bit of frustration among seemingly a fair few folk as it's probably the entry I've most effort into out of all of the contests so far. I’ll get back to you re tracks when I have the album with me... edit: they are... 1989/Grey/Khairo/Liath/Goodbye Edited October 29, 20177 yr by dandyman* 🐝🐝
