Nero at #8, who saw this coming?

Just about everyone surely? It was obviously going to fall as it isn't even top 10 combined on iTunes...

Anyways, great to see 19 back up to #3 and Chase & Status back in the top 10 :D I wonder if 19 can overtake The Wombats, probably not as they probably have a huge lead.

Where is wynter gordon?

Not top 40 otherwise it would be in the update. Please use some common sense, it clearly says 'TOP 40 ONLY' at the top. I'm not being rude but it's right there.

No-one will miss them as we'll all be partying and enjoying the wedding of our great future King and Queen.

What a thought. Come back in 50 years when they're just about to be crowned and then maybe I'll give a $h!t...

Just about everyone surely?

Not me - I didn't even consider it for T40 contention.

Well you're stupid. How exactly would they not go top 40 when their last single got to #15 and Guilt had roughly equal if not greater pre-release airplay and hype? Not to mention the fact there was a fake version of Guilt in the iTunes top 300 and the EP got top 60 on iTunes Albums as a pre-order.

I felt Me & You got much more pre-release airplay and hype than Guilt.

It didn't feel like that to me. Guilt has been unavoidable for the past month, possibly longer on the radio and in clubs, Me & You I only heard for the first time about a week before its release iirc.

I don't. I heard Guilt a lot more on Radio 1 (which while obviously not representing radio as a whole is pretty much the only major station that supports Nero, unless 1Xtra do as well and they're just R1's sister station) prior to its release compared to MAY. Maybe there wasn't as much hype, that's impossible to judge really, but surely there was at least some hype. As I said, there was a fake version on iTunes and the EP got fairly high as a pre-order, it couldn't have done that without any hype surely?

^ Yeah, I did expect it be a hit because of the fake version, etc.

But I dunno. I seemed to be hearing Me & You everyday for like a month before it was released. I actually thought it'd be #1 contender, because it seemed so hyped to me, and I was hearing it so often.

Well you're stupid.

Why be so rude? Mabye he just didn't expect it to go as high as you, or didn't watch the performance of the fake version as carefully as you

But regardless of that it's a bit ridiculous to think a new song by an act that's already had a relateively big hit with their first single would not even be in 'contention' for the top 40...

Adele still at #1  13 weeks! :o :w00t: You just know its going to spend even more weeks at #1 throughout this year. Its going to sell 3,000,000 this year alone in the UK, i'm 99.9% sure of it.

But he might have thought it wasn't as strong as their first song? And loads of acts release a single and then flop with their follow up? I personally didn't expect it to go top 10, I did expect top 40, but I didnt think it would outpeak M&Y. Its just the way you said it, I thought was rather cutting and rude.

Not quite 'unavoidable' - I have yet to hear it once. :)

Tell that to Ellie G, with 'Lights'

Lights was a different scenario as it'd already been available on her album for months.
