Re: The Saturdays - one of the loons in the single thread in their forum said it's kind of like on-air, on-sale but not. Whatever that means

And re: Adele - won't she only sing one song tonight on Jools Holland? The other two will be on Friday (the extended edition)

Adele - won't she only sing one song tonight on Jools Holland? The other two will be on Friday (the extended edition)

That seems most likely. I haven't watched the programme before and from what I read, I assumed that it was only Adele and R Kelly performing on tonight's episode, but there have been multiple people so far. So seemingly only "Rolling in the Deep" will get a little boost tonight. Hopefully the others will get a boost on Friday then.

The Saturdays having a music video out pre-release is basically the same as it being sent to radio pre-release really, in a sense. They're promoting the song, and attempting to front-load it.

Except with their other first singles they had like 4-6 weeks gap between radio premiere and putting the song on sale while now it's apparently going to be only like 2 weeks.

Adele is currently singing "Take It All" on Jools Holland so that should hopefully get a boost too.
Could we see Take It All jump in to top 100 too? :w00t:  It'll be enough to keep 21 #1 this week, she looks great tonight, she's really losing a lot of weight and has improved such a massive amount since her 19 days, her voice, confidence, performance skills, emotion, everything has just become even better then before.
Apart from Bruno it's all Club songs in the Top 5, I think Bruno could be number 1 soon, LMFAO will probably get 4 weeks at :no1: then Bruno has a good chance of knocking them off next week.

Where Them Girls At at #3! :o This will sound silly, but I hope David Guetta gets to #1 on iTunes, and that LMFAO go into free-fall, leaving Bruno to get #1 this week, and then David Guetta will be nicely in place to get #1 the week after. :)

Oh, and then Chris Brown will experience a boost in sales for no reason and get #1 the week after David Guetta.

If DG can nab number 1 by Midday/ late afternoon tomorrow and get a good enough lead, I still think he could get Number 1 come sunday.

Shout got #1, and that was released on a Thursday I think. And Someone Like You was kind of a mid-week release. But both those songs sold exceptionally well, at levels I'm not sure David Guetta could manage (although he has 6 days to sell, rather than 3 or 4 I suppose).

 That sounds good, if only we could arrange the chart to go a certain way, right now I would do anything to get LMFAO to start falling down dramatically.

This is the worst David Guetta single EVER. Flo part is so annoying. Trash.

And I am HUGE fan of David Guetta but he is going worse and worse!

In the other side

TTWE Remix is up to #55, it was #85 or so yesterday!

I'm kind of annoyed too. It's sounds waaaaaay too similar to Sexy Chick. And the version I was listening to before sounded quite different to Sexy Chick (apart from a short section that appeared twice in the song), so it seems even more of a let down.

I wouldn't say he's getting worse and worse though. In his post-When Love Takes Over work, I'd say his best songs are Memories, Commander, Gettin' Over You and Who's That Chick?, so he's stayed quite consistent for me at least.

Great to see Britters climbing again! :cheer:

'Till the World Ends' in the top 1000 - #28, #54, #423 & #813

EXCELLENT :D

For a start, could everything above Skinny Love be deleted? :P

No, No, NO!!

Please not David Guetta #1. The man is a one-trick pony ditto with that Bruno Mars.

Considering there are some strong releases this week such as Blue, The Feeling which actually have a tune and melody to them and sound individual, people just want to buy the same generic track by number these artists always produce.

One positive - Alexandra Stan is moving up the charts :)
