Looking forward to the shopping task next week, it's always a series highlight for me. I love it when someone always thinks they've got a bargain after managing to get the price down to £120, only to find out that the other team bought one for a tenner. :D

Oh yes! That is exactly why I LOVE it. Such a magnificent task, it really brings out the best and worst in the candidates.

Saira Khan is probably the best person I've ever seen at that task. The woman is GLORIOUS.

I enjoy this task - but I can't see the point in it. Tell me ... when was the last time you walked into a genuine shop and tried to barter the price down? It CAN'T be done. I'm sure when its been done in the past in the show - then it has been put on just for the cameras. I'd prefer it if they gave the teams the money and sent them to an antiques fair (where there IS a real chance to haggle - a-la Bargain Hunt) and then go to auction to genuinely see how much profit they can make.

You know - I'm going to try this task tomorrow. We desperately need a new dining table and four chairs (but fairly small as we live in a small house). I've seen a suite that I like in Homebase ... but its over £200. I'll go in tomorrow lunchtime and see if I can talk them down to £150.

I'll let you know how far I get! What a load of bollocks!

Get your other half to stand behind you with a Camera that has a BBC logo on it

That is a BLOODY GOOD idea! I may even get it down to under £100!!!!!!!

Just ended up watching Katie Hopkins on The Apprentice: You're Fired on youtube and my god, I forgot how much I absolutely LOVE that woman.
Just caught up. It was alright. Pretty boring tonight if I'm honest. Glad Alex went as, like it was pointed out, he's just been sat at the back doing f all. Leon needs to go soon or adopt some form of characteristic/personality though. Very boring. Really liking Melody (my favourite at the moment), Gavin & Tom so far. The rest either don't register or are just too stuck up their own arses. Particularly Vincent :puke: Edna is also vile. Really do not see the love this woman is getting. She's not even a bitch in the likeable bitch sort of way. She looks like Beverley Knight on drugs.
Why stop at £100? Channel your inner Saira Khan and go for a tenner!

I'll summon up all the skills that watching The Apprentice has taught me over these past few years - and they'll be PAYING ME to take that dining suite off their hands!

HOW exactly did they manage to find an Alex this year who's identical to last year's in the way of his appearance, mannerisms, slouched sitting position and complete uselessness. The only difference is that this one was fired earlier, and thank god for that.

Loved the episode but both apps were indeed horrendous. I have to say though that held at gunpoint and forced to download one, it would have been the girls one. Some of the sounds (cheering for example) could provide mild amusement in various situations, the slang-atang one definitely wouldn't, it caught me off guard like bad crimes frankly.

One to watch imo ->

I thought the girls team was really useless. That chinese girl when she was doing her app idea, was just so cringey to watch. Obviously it was not edited in her favour, but it was very very funny. They're getting split up next week, so we'll see what happens. Aled put it brilliantly earlier though, the girls are a time-bomb waiting to go off.

Ha, so true!

Seriously don't understand how the girls managed to win that one. I guess the whole episode was edited to make it seem like the guys would easily win...but still, managed to shock me when the result was announced! Melody is still my favourite, although what is up with her voice? It's just ODD.

You can tell them to think of all the free advertising they'd be getting and that you'd tell all your friends to shop there for their next dining suite!

MAJOR  At the bolded section.

I'm with you on the Maria Haukaas Storeng II being one to watch. Her line in the promo for next week means it going to be amusing as hell.

She seemed quite bold and had a lot of get up and go and sensible decisions in this episode too, she's certainly started to shine through before quite a few of the others imo. Can't wait for next week's episode!
