TLS, if it gets to #1 officially but never gets there on iTunes this week, would be the first song I've seen get to #1 without being #1 on iTunes purely for the reason that it's stuck behind several different songs which are going up and down while it stays sturdy. Price Tag almost did that in its second week but it was #1 for a bit before Chipmunk got there and it was #1 for all of a few minutes before GaGa took over.

 

XFF, Matt Cardle, other things like Peter Kay etc. plus Pixie Lott all got to #1 due to physical sales and Telephone had 2 versions.

 

EDIT: Actually, I think Poker Face may have got to #1 without being #1 on iTunes all week.. but IIRC it was stuck behind Flo Rida all week and it was download only so I assume sales from other sites must have won it for that.

Noisettes didn't get to #1 until quite late in the week IIRC (hence why they couldn't get official #1). But nonetheless, GaGa had still been #1 from the start of the chart tracking week until DUTR got there.

I reckon Bruno will just beat Gaga, but then Edge Of Glory will be the highest peaker of the era so far (BTW - 3, Judas - 9).

Bruno will just outdo GaGa almost certainly I think - he'll get the 'weekend effect' with all the chart countdowns on the music channels. Although GaGa is on Graham Norton I don't think she is performing TEOG from what I have read, so can't see that track getting much of a boost. Hopefully I am proved wrong though!!

 

 

Has Eyes Wide Shut not made an appearance in top 100 yet? I thought it'd get a big boost, even though vocals werent on point last night. I think it might be their best song yet though.

I *think* it was 'The Club Is Alive' by JLS last year but I'm not 100% sure. It might have been something else but I'm 90% sure it was something released last year.

The club is alove got to number one On itunes & physicals.

TCIA did get to number One on itunes - it had dropped to about 5 by sunday though
