I don't know about that. It might not be the lead mix, but I've heard it just as much as, if not more than, the mix that they went with. Radio 1 is just about the only place I've heard the single mix - the Freemasons mix is on all of the music channels, and quite a few other stations, and the one played in most clubs here, it's had just as much exposure imo.

There should be rules about people signatures or whatever they are because its not appropriate to have 8 pictures of an almost naked man to appear at the end of someones posts.

It's a Music forum and its unneccesary and inconsiderate for those of us who view the site at work.

wow at Gaga getting to number 1 with just a promo hit :o I was convinced this would shoot up then stall and then plummet, its good though, far more simple than her other two and worthy of a number 1 :D

 

and :cheer: for Take That- I think number 1's a bit too late, but if this is pre-performance on the Movie awards which I'd imagine gets around 5-7 million viewers, they could easily get number 1 on itunes in the week

The Radio Edit isn't on there sadly, and that will have cost her quite a lot of sales, bearing in mind that the Club Mix is about 10 minutes long. I bought the EP and was disappointed to see it missing :(

The Edge of Glory has officially been announced as the 3rd single now, and will be added to American radio properly next Tuesday. She's still going ahead with the release of Hair, which will probably get into the top 10 too. :cheer:

 

So glad TEOG is a single, it will no doubt be one of her biggest in terms of chart life (even if it does slip from #1), and just imagine the video!! :w00t:

I just think its too big to not be a single, and it will get too messy if she delays it, and then re-releases it later once the album is out. People will no doubt go straight to the album and download TEOG, Judas and BTW first, so she might as well capitilise on that by adding it to radio too, and waiting a while before officially releasing and promoting MTN

 

Edit: apparently now its being released in the US next week, and later worldwide... i'm so confused. I'm just going to keep enjoying it for now :music:

Is it me or has iTunes generated big releases all in one big bunch all of a sudden, there seems to be a lot of activity on it with new releases.

iTunes doesn't generate new releases :lol: You make it sound like some kind of frankenstein. What's happened is a bunch of extrememly popular artists decided to premiere their new tracks early at about the same time.

It's about time decent artists pulled their fingers out and delivered some excellent new music, the weekly club banger rankings were becoming more than a bit of a bore tbh. Why does it always clash with Eurovision week though? :lol: Last year we had Robyn, Kylie, Katy Perry and a few others all premiering new songs - it makes it INCREDIBLY hard to compile a personal chart when you're an ESC loon and there's so much other great music around besides! May is ALWAYS the best non final quarter month for music imo - it's when the summer hits first start to appear, plus the aformentioned Eurovision :wub:
