I dread to think how it could get any worse (IMO)

Oh it will, it will. After all we've got the X Factor charity single to look forward to and the winner's song after that.

Hopefully the lack of Simon might mix things up a bit this year but I suspect it'll stick to the same formula and churn out another #1 charity single and another cover at Christmas #1 :( There was a rare somewhat credible song choice last year but that was because it was a rare somewhat credible winner so I suspect we'll be back to a crap Xmas #1 this year.

I wonder if they'll do another hero-related song for the charity single.

And the winner of American X Factor to come, I'm sure the winner will be this side of the atlantic as well, hopefully in it

There should probably have been a comma in that sentence, there, I fixed it for you :teresa:

Where's the full stop at the end of your sentence?

I don't think the winner of American XF will do that well here... I hope not anyway :( One XF winner in the top 10 at Xmas is enough for me thanks.

I'd personally say an emoticon counts as a replacement for a full stop in the same way a question mark does.

maybe with Simon in the US, there won't be a charity song this year? :( #wishfulthinking although each charity song had sold less then its predecessor, so it could happen again with this
