Disappointed to see "Angels in Disguise" failing to go to the final. So much deserved to go through.

Really want Sweden to win tonight, by far the best song in the contest. Gutted Norway and Israel didn't make it through, I thought they both had quite strong performances in the semis :(

Really looking forward to tonight's show! Never been this excited for one before. Got my Alcohol at the ready! :)

I've got a feeling this could be one of the best finals we've had in a while! :cheer: The competition is still wide open, and with alot of the contenders getting a bad running order slot, we might have a few surprises too! :D

No clips of the jury rehearsal are around, the EBU have removed them all, BUT there is this recap from the rehearsal;

 

 

Lena gets by FAR the biggest cheer, for the second year in a row - possibly more expected this time though :P Blue got a fairly big cheer although that clip wasn't enough to tell if the performance were as bad as people are making out. Either it's my ears or Iceland got the 2nd biggest cheer :o

I will definitely be watching, I may miss the first hour though as my family will probably insist on watching Britain's Got Talent :( (I'm tempted not to watch, seriously, I'm losing interest) hopefully, I won't miss Blue's performance

 

I haven't actually heard any of the songs bar UK and Ireland so it will be my first time- but I hope their more upbeat/entertaining than slow and boring :zzz: UK ftw of course :D

I thought 'I Can' sounded terrible there! :lol: The weakest vocal of the lot in my opinion, 'Sognu's staging looked a bit crap :mellow: Excited for 'Taken By A Stranger's performance! ^_^

I'm always very skeptical about crowd reaction. Norway got one of the biggest reactions and it didn't do them any good. Ireland got one of the biggest reactions in 2009 and it didn't transfer to votes either, so I usually don't go by the arena's screams. Blue's performance is good, I just find the chorus quite weak (not to mention those god awful screens!), but in that video they seemed a lot better. They should do very well if they have the chorus nailed!

 

@152chris - Whether the juries will go for Ireland is a good question, but I'm inclined to think they will. The vocals are a lot better than they were a few months ago (oikotimes.com said their vocals were "amazing" for the three [including the jury's] rehearsals for the final), and the song is annoyingly catchy. But if it doesn't catch the jury vote then it'll be quite high in the televote judging by the song's performance in the iTunes charts around Europe... But whatever the outcome, I'll still be happy. The boys are gathering huge support here, so we'll be happy with whatever result (as long as it's not last! :P)

WOO, just put a bet on Blue to win - get £90 if they do! :D
