That line-up really is less X Factor and more Must Be The Music.

Agreed. But The X Factor US is hardly great either.

American Idol and The Voice have better line-ups atm imo.

The only way it will be a sinking ship is if they hire Alesha Dixon. Sorry, but she's boring, a complete has-been and it just stinks of Cowell giving two fingers up to SCD. It's not what's needed.

Despite Tulisa been in N-Dubz, she does actually have a very good voice. I think people are far too quick to judge. I'm sensing (like Cheryl Cole) with X-Factor Tulisa is going to become far too big to be in N-Dubz...

I think Tulisa has denied it on twitter, she is too rough and uncouth, I cannot see the public warming to her.I am sure Danni was pushed out she really was the only good judge left.

Oh DEAR. I do actually love Tulisa, I think she's hilarious and will be a good watch but getting rid of Dannii and Simon will kill the show. Cheryl and Louis are easily replaceable but them two really aren't - I don't understand it really, last year's was it's biggest ratings ever?

Also think that the British public will completely turn against Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole for abandoning us pretty much - their careers over here are done.

Alesha Dixon  she can't be, how will she split herself when she judges Strictly Dancing on Saturday practically at the same time

Has Alesha been confirmed though? She was given down the banks apparently by the BBC for being quite ungrateful in comments she was allegedly to have said. I should really be on HIGNFY using the word allegedly as much as I do.

If so - I agree - Alesha Dixon is one of the most boring people on the planet (IMO). I don't think she has a great voice either (IMO again.)

Alesha is a really lovely woman but she doesn't have a clue what she's on about on SCD, and (though I love her music) I doubt she'd be much better at judging singing. She's really nice, but I don't think she's judging material, for any show.
I'm not quite sure what people want in a celebrity judge if Alesha Dixon is deemed 'boring' but hey ho.
Cowell was fawning over Nicole Scherzinger last year, I'm surprised she isn't a judge instead of a crappy hosting job on the US version.
It would make sense for Tulisa to join the show... It would fit in with the forthcoming hiatus from N-Dubz wouldn't it?
I actually started to like Danni as well, this is a disaster, all familiarity in the show will be gone - possible disaster for a show of this type. The papers are already touting Tulisa to become the new Cheryl as they say she has similar routes to Cheryl, (Council estate story, blah.) I seriously hope Sharon is brought back now, her and Louis were amazing together. Also the worst thing - NDubz are bound to get on the X Factor and perform now!
I'm not writing off the changes yet - look at how much the panel change boosted AI! It's the best season yet imo (probably not quite there talent wise, but the interaction between the judges and the comments they give are better than ever!)
Quite sucky news. Overall I'm starting to think The X Factor is just too sensationalist. They always talk about how the contestants are portrayed in the media and all that, it just gets annoying after a while. I mean it's not like that on American Idol. That show seems to be more about music and the contestants being individual artists. It just makes for a more enjoyable, relaxing watch in a way. The X Factor is also too much about the judges and all their conflicts, whereas American Idol is not like that. On American Idol, the judges genuinely seem to want to help the contestants be the best artists they can be, and they give them constructive criticism and advice. Dannii was like that on The X Factor, so it's a pity she's leaving. I have to say I do quite like Louis Walsh though, I think he's very sincere.

Don't think i'll bother watching this year. Tulisa from N-Dubz :o -- N-Dubz are crap anyway :puke2: :puke2:

Right i don't think Tulisa will get to be a judge tbh. The people mainly linked with the Xfactor is

- Tulisa

- Frankie (Saturdays)

- Mel B (I expect she will be on the judging panel replacing Cheryl)

- Alesha Dixon

- Nicole Scherzinger

Tulsia was not really liked at the screen process because she kept swearing!

Mel B and Nicole have already been ruled out. Nicole's hosting the US X Factor, and Mel B just signed up to judge the Australian X Factor.

Frankie Sandford is surely too much of a non-entity to get the gig. I know in theory Cheryl was just a girlband member before Simon Cowell came calling, but Girls Aloud had already enjoyed MUCH more success than the Saturdays (Wordshaker; 3 copies sold), and Cherly was already a tabloid darling. Frankie, and indeed any of the Saturdays, just AREN'T there yet.

I can't see Frankie on the panel. She doesn't really have the potential to be a big personality like Cheryl did. The X Factor thrives on publicity, and Frankie isn't that popular with the papers.
