Okay I am officially ADDICTED. This is like the perfect comeback for her, so excited for a new album ... I hope it's more in the vein of 'My December' which is honestly one of my favourite albums ever.
Absolutely adore it. I'm definitely hearing the "Just the Way You Are" connections, but I think it's such a great song that it doesn't matter. I really hope it's a big success for her.
I can't imagine this not being huge. She'll clearly get an X Factor performance and it really isn't that different to Bruno/Beyoncé/Adele etc so radio will be all over it.

I definitely get the 'Just The Way You Are' comparisons, the backing track is basically identical with some acoustic guitars here and there. This is however leagues better, for a start it has actual sincerity and isn't as cheesy.

I do appreciate the fact she's done something different by her standards, when the average person thinks of Kelly Clarkson they think of a distinct sound (i.e. 'Since U Been Gone' recycled), which isn't strictly true and I'm glad she's showing it.

it needs not saying as it's been said by pretty much everyone else, but yeah, I could sing Just The Way You Are over this no problem :kink:

that being said, I do really like this on first listen, its not what I expected from her - which is a good thing!

Kelly C does it again! She's fast becoming my most played track of 2011! My iTunes has scrobbled 59 plays so far (about to do 60!) and I have listened to it on repeat to and from work (which takes a good half hour at maximum each way) so all in all about 90 plays (give or take) and I really am loving more and more with each listen  [/loon]

She's my favourite artist, so is it actually that much of a surprise? 'My Life Would Suck Without You', 'Already Gone' and 'Don't Let Me Stop You' are my 1st, 2nd and 5th most played tracks EVER. (Well, since I had iTunes/Last.fm) Gah. I'm in serious love with her

I'm on quite a few plays too  I'm not quite sure how many as I've listened quite lot on my mp3 which I can't scrobble or anything but I'm on 16 on iTunes and I'd say about 15-20 on my mp3 so that's just over 30!

She's one of my favourite artists ever too actually, I always had her top 5 but with the release of this it's made me realise just HOW amazing she is/was, I think she's 3rd behind Lady Gaga and Carrie Underwood

I do maybe think I loon too much sometimes, just over 30 plays in a few days isn't anything for my looning standards though, I feel a flop with Kelly :P Like when Judas was released (Gaga, not Kelly :P), easily 30 plays in 24 hours, if not more. Same with BTW, I had it on repeat for 2 hours :o

Kelly Clarkson - welcome back! my life has missed you. This is unreal!!!!!! Superb work!!!!
ps could someone poss send me this please. struggling to find it :(

Kelly just confirmed that What Doesn't Kill You will be on the album :cheer: (Planning to be a single)

EDIT: You Love Me is another confirmed track. She also said that vocally on the album she sounds how she sounds live. She also confirmed that there is a duet on the album, with a female artist and she is associated with American Idol. There were rumours about it being Kara DioGuardi but I'm somewhat hoping it's Carrie Underwood.

PLEASE be Carrie, it'd be absolutely EPIC! Carrie is probably my favourite singer ever and Kelly would probably be 3rd so I will die of happiness if it's true

YES for WDKY too, glad it's on the album!

My guess is... Kellie Pickler.
