I was thinking of buying the album but not sure whether to wait and see whether the album is re-released. Does anybody know if there are any plans to re-release it with bonus tracks?

Nothing has been said yet

I wouldn't be suprised if it is because i felt 11 tracks wasn't enough

There will likely be an announcement regarding what's next with Rihanna after California's potential success.

I really hope so, I've loved this era and the whole style of it so I hope it goes on for a bit longer

Will no doubt be called Louder too

I personally hope not as I don't want to fork out for it again :P I think it's even more of a con when they re-release albums that have already sold loads, like 'Loud' with over 1million in the UK. Not like they need to try and boost sales. Unless of course you can also buy the extra tracks on a separate disc, but that always seems to be US only, or at least not UK (see TFM & Cannibal).
I'd rather she moved onto a new album, but hopefully we get another single (or two) from 'Loud'. Preferablely 'Cheers' or 'Man Down'.
I wouldn't be suprised if RiRi's next album isn't a greatest hits. With the amount of hits she has had in just 5/6 years, she is very much deserved of one and usually GH's contain 2 or 3 new tracks.
Louder? :D

I can so see that happening!

I'm all for her going down the 'companion album' route. Re-releases with 2 extra tracks and a DVD are lame. Give me 8 new songs on a separate CD and we'll talk.

She already has a greatest hits...

'Good Girl Gone Bad' :D

Seriously though, as long as I get that heavily rumoured Katy Perry duet, I don't care whether it's for a new album or a re-release. I just want that!

I suspect there will be a re-release later in the year to extend the life of the album and boost sales. The record company successfully did that with "good girl gone bad" album. I suspect this album will outsell GGGB in the future, even though its not as good in my opinion.

It's sold so much already but I guess her label would want to cash in on her recent success.

I personally would rather her move onto the next album.

She's touring till Nov/Dec or something isn't she? So if there was to be a re-release it'd probably be around for Christmas, which it most likely.

It would work out if she did the re-release around October. Therefore, she has more songs to add to the setlist ready for Winter tour she does here.

The Katy Perry and Rihanna Collab is called Turn The Lights Out and it will be produced by Darkchild

I'd rather she moved onto her next album as well. I'd like her to release another single from Loud - Cheers would be a good one.

The album IS gonna be re-released, she tweeted:

I reckon it will be re-released, before Christmas with a new lead single to cash in on the xmas market.
