I think that's quite ridiculous really. When I think of music, I think of the actual music, not the words. But again, by using that standard, you can claim Lady Gaga has copied other artists, or that other artists have had a big impact on chart music, when they haven't really.

Hence why I said its a tiny, unimportant thing but while listening to the instrumental, it just poped into my head. And as I have said, I dont think people have 'copied' Gaga, as I though I had made clear to you with my other post, but I am just disputing that you said originally that she doesn't seem to have made that much of an impact in culture and people don't want to be like her, when it is clear that some of the influences are coming through, even to other artists in some ways, even if they are tiny.

I have never heard of "all of my friends think I'm crazy" or "i'm not your average/she's not your average".

However "throw your hands up in the air" is overused lol. AND so is the intro of some artists songs that mention each other's names (RedOne, J.Lo, Usher, Enrique Iglesias, Gaga, Jason DEERRUULLOOO etc ). It's so annoying -.-

You can't be serious?

'I love this track/song/record/beat' is one of the most overused, cliche lyrics ever in pop music along with 'all my friends think i'm crazy", "I'm not your average/she's not your average...", "throw your hands up in the air" etc

As I stated, I am not claiming she created it, but I didn't notice it as much before then? Mabye I am wrong then, and was just silly enough to not notice it as much, hence why I think that it has become more common since Just Dance. Its a small thing I noticed, only a tiny thing, so it really doesn't matter

Oh, okay. That's fine. I do genuinely not know anybody that wants to be like Gaga though, although I guess there probably are people out there who do.

This is a bit off-topic now, but this reminds me of the most annoying thing ever. I was discussing Jason Derulo with one of my sisters, and I was asking her what her favourite song of his was. I was going on about how much I love Ridin' Solo, and she said "Oh, my favourite would probably be Ridin' Solo too, except I prefer In My Head because I like all the things he says and the funny sounds that play at the beginning". I was literally like . I bet silly girls like her were the reason it got to #1. :puke:

They are definatlely used alot in several variations.

I have never heard of "all of my friends think I'm crazy"

I have heard that in a lot of songs actually. One example that comes to my head straight away is Kesha - Your Love Is My Drug.

THIS IS THE ITUNES THREAD NOT GAGA/BRITNEY COMPARISION THREAD.

I really hope California King Bed goes top 10 too, only thing that will stop it is the fact Loud has sold so much, and as its a ballad it'll focus on selling the album continously well :D Hoping for a BGT performance. :)

I want J-Lo and Dev to get into the top 10 so much. I think it'll actually be possible, since the bottom 3 songs in the top 10 are all falling.
The Saturdays might end up missing the top 10 the rate they are following. They have dropped over 16% in the last day and a half.. that's more than Missing You did in 5days. They're dropping more than anyone and could end up around #14 on iTunes come sunday.

The calling - wherever you will go  If this goes top 40 I will personally not hate on Bass Down Low for a whole day.
Time to cherry pick which songs I like in the 59p and download them! :D

THE FLOP NADINE IS RELEASING A SONG IN THE USA!!!

Nadine Coyle has announced the release of her debut single in America.

The Girls Aloud popstar, whose first solo album Insatiable was met with a disappointing commercial response last year, published a link to the "exclusive premiere" of the track 'Runnin'', taken from her debut LP.

An accompanying statement said: "Singer-songwriter Nadine Coyle is proud to introduce a

sneak preview of the summer smash 'Runnin'' to US audiences and clubs.

"Nadine is currently in the studio with hot DJ/producer Duo Vito Fun & Damian Major collaborating on new club remixes."

The release went on to inform the US audience that Coyle is "most famously known for being the lead singer of the Guinness World Records-acclaimed pop group Girls Aloud".

Earlier this year, Coyle confirmed that she had separated from her management, which pushed back the release of 'Put Your Hands Up' as her second UK single.

Going with an all Tesco deal was a bad idea to start with.... thank goodness she parted with that management.
It says Nadine has seperated from her management. Does she, er, have new management then? If she doesn't, I don't think she stands a chance. I hope she does well. Another British artist in the Hot 100! :D

British artists are dominating the Billboard Hot 100s in the past 1-2 years which is good.

Where the heck has Estelle been though...

I wouldn't say "dominating", but yeah, they've been present there.

I always thought Estelle was American until someone on here told me a few months ago actually! :o

I don't know where she's been. I think the latest song she's put out is this:
