Estelle is one of the worst people in existence :puke: She's horrific. Everything she's done has been God awful (bar 'Free' which was great!) Ergh. I honestly don't understand how she ever got hype tbh.
Only songs I heard from her are American Boy and The single after, only liked American Boy I must say because that song is FAB!! Oh well I guess she's a one hit wonder.

Yeah. She has kind of disappeared. She collabed with David Guetta last year, and even that flopped. Although I think if that song had released now it would've shot into the top 10 on release week like all David Guetta tracks do nowadays.

Yeah, she kind of is a one-hit wonder, in a way. What a hit it was though!! :o I thought American Boy was an incredible song, and I think it's a fantastic example of song that successfully blends dance, hip hop, pop and RnB, so it made sense that it was so popular tbh. It had very broad appeal, I thought.

Templecloud up to #11 now. I can see this going top 10 today. I'm nervous for J-Lo though. I hope David Guetta falls faster.

What about "1980"?

I loved that! :D Think it got to #2 on my personal chart in '04.

Estelle - 1980 is still her best track, sounds as good today as it did then ;-)

It says Nadine has seperated from her management. Does she, er, have new management then? If she doesn't, I don't think she stands a chance. I hope she does well. Another British artist in the Hot 100! :D

Shes Irish actually!!

Where the heck has Estelle been though...

I am not sure, but I think she is still around making music. The last song she actually released and put on radio and TV over here is 'Freak' which rightfully flopped on its arse. Possibly, one of the worst songs of 2010 for me:

I'm Into You almost top 10. I think the Saturdays will be in serious freefall once they drop out of the top 10

Also Aerosmith  and Michael Jackson     back in the top 100 :cheer:

Saturday Sales - 23,871. 2500 more than 9th place? Is that enough to hang in at 8th?

880 copies less than 6th.

SHM is at 9 - which has 2 versions out and as its a dnace song likely to benefit heavily from the weekend effect.

I reckon Notorius will end up at 10 on the official chart come sunday - but really does depend on how much it falls once it falls out of the top 10.

By this rate, I reckon The Saturdays will debut at around #9-10 on the UK charts.

A bit extreme dont you think. Its only music.

23k is not bad at all really(30k possibly by sunday?). Considering they usually promote the cr*p out of their songs completely before release. So to release a song and get a top 10 hit after just 4 days of minimum airplay isn't bad.

Question is will it just continue to fall on itunes now or manage to reclimb when/if it makes A list on Radio 1 and gets increased radio/video support along with performances?

I'll stick my neck out and i reckon it could be their biggest selling hit!

Well true, we were discussing how the British artists cracking the states is more common now and Estelle just popped up as I remembered her for American Boy and then kinda faded..
