The thing about Turn It Up is when I'm trying to think of it in my head, I always here a song that I thought was a BJSC entry but I can't find it now, that goes "turn it up real loud, turn it upside down, till you hear the sound of my love". Or something. Anyone?

 

Boys And Girls is OK, actually I think I prefer the demo version. Hopefully we can all agree that Mama Do is awful though and never should have been #1?

I don't think that Mama Do is awful but it's definitely nothing special, BUT the Euro version, which I uploaded onto Youtube from some Swedish compilation that I bought is a lot better and less '2008';

 

Go Olly :wub: And Rihanna must get top 10 - hopefully she has a BGT slot so she can go top 5 as well! Hope J-Lo climbs too.

But I don't think The Sats or Jessie J will get them.....

I thought Jessie J was already confirmed to be one of the acts? I read something about that on her Twitter a couple of weeks ago.

I really want Olly to get a slot. So happy that Busy has climbed so many places after his Paul O'Grady performance! Totally deserved.

Not sure, oddly, in the album notes it doesn't even mention that it's a remix or different edit so I was surprised to hear that version when playing the album. I'm not even sure if this is the version that European radio did play, it just seems to have appeared from nowhere and nobody seems to know anything about it :lol:

Really hope Rihanna can go top 10 soon, too! If she DOES get a slot on BGT it'll do a 'Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart' by Alicia I reckon. (Although both songs deserved to be number 1 for half an eternity -_-) But hopefully she gets top 10 before hand and manages to have a 4th Top 10 (hopefully change that top 5 with "the top 10 effect" etc..) from one album. Something which she's never done (without re-releasing the album)

 

Unfortunately Olly did struggle with the notes though last night. -_- He's not the best live is he :lol: But i do like Busy and want it at least top 40. :P

Of course he's not going to sound too great at the moment :heehee: He's just finishing off his tour which will take quite a bit out of his voice and you can tell in the interview after the performance his voice seemed croaky. Either way he was never the best live (as you say) and he never was on X Factor, but the material he has on his album suits his voice perfectly, I reckon.

I could see Beyonce being on the final. Can't see Rihanna going on (especially not on a semi-final) if Beyonce is. They usually only have one "big" performer (last year I guess it was Usher). Olly, I doubt, he's on his fourth single and just wrapped up a tour and doesn't really need a performance. What would Bruno promote? The Lazy Song has been out for ages now, Avril is possible, not sure about Nicole if she's supposed to be releasing in the US soon surely she'd be promoting over there first? Can't see Nicki being on, BEP's are possible.

 

Last year I don't think anyone really predicted any of the guest performers so they'll probably suprise us this year, too. Although i'm really hoping for The Saturdays!
