Well done Britain.

Apart from Ellie Goulding and Yasmin. :kink:

A shame Wiz isn't an attractive British female. :(

Ah, but then he/she wouldn't be a rapper, as there are no white female rappers (that I know of)...

Well done Britain.

I'm going to assume this is sarcasm, as in when you say 'well done' to someone after they royally screw something up. I agree.

YES. Go RiRi!! I am pleasantly surprised at the success it's having. Deserved (as I keep saying) though! I'm also shocked it managed to overtake both Snoop AND JLIL at the same time. (Particularly JLil as they're likely to be increasing too!)

EDIT: I hope 'Honey' on ITV1 does something for Yolanda Adams 'I Believe'.

Tbh it should be I'm Into You #1 and CKB #2. That would be PERFECT! :yahoo:

I've read through this topic and I don't think anyone answered your question, properly :heehee: I think it got to number 6 on iTunes.

My archive says #9, unless it landed above that for less than 24 hours.

It was #8 for a bit before climbing to #7 so it wasn't quite at the same time. :P

I don't mean to downplay her 'achievement' but there's pretty much nothing in the pop bars between 6 & 9. Here are the (slightly outdated as Ri is still #9) pop bar numbers:

6 Chris Brown Beautiful People (feat. Benny Benassi) [Main Version] 0.337519

7 Snoop Dogg & David Guetta Sweat (Snoop Dogg vs. David Guetta) [Remix] 0.325292

8 Jennifer Lopez I'm Into You (feat. Lil Wayne) 0.323970

9 Rihanna California King Bed 0.317250

I don't actually think this is sarcasm

Especially when he/she has CKB in his/her sig :P

It wasn't sarcasm. If someone who has CKB in their signature says "Well done Britain" when CKB climbs the chart, it's definitely not sarcasm.

CKB should be #6 soon, then waiting a while to claim #5.

EDIT: I swear I'm in sync with everyone today. I basically just wrote what Griffo posted and also wrote what Eric posted about Jessie J's NP a few seconds before.

Both I'm Into You and California King Bed have been boosted by top 10 effect, and both will continue to climb i'm sure. :)

Want them both top 5. :)

I'm even more impressed with CKB as its off such a huge selling album and the forth single whereas its J-Lo's second single and her album hasnt sold much..

I'm Into You is really urban^

I'm surprised the UK even likes songs like this.

The best set of artists they could get for BGT, in terms of who's been the biggest this year so far, would be Adele, Jessie J, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Mars and Rihanna.

I would rule out Bruno Mars & Chris Brown though. Chris Brown's still not in the United Kingdom!

I would Love... The Saturdays, J-LO, Jessie J, Gaga & Adele. I would prefer as much British artists as possibile.

I'm going to assume that was sarcasm as well. :kink:

If CKB and IIY both go top 5, along with INAD, TLS and GME - I think that would be the best top 5 of the year so far.

Maybe Jessie J and Nicole could both compete for a top 5 placing as well if they are performing on BGT next week. Rihanna, Nicole, Jessie J and J.Lo all in the top 10 at the same point will give Buzzjack a collective stroke! :o

I really can't wait to find out who's performing. It will make the charts really interesting this week. :D

Lady Sovereign.

Lady Sovereign.

Fergie raps quite a lot too. Although I'm not sure if she'd be called "a rapper".
