LMFAO back up to Number 3?! I'm so sick of it now, but I guess it's one of those records that's just gonna hang around in the charts for months isn't it...

Ooh at Olly, probabaly his last day in the top 40! So totally undeserved, it's not even funny.

And at least The Saturdays have climbed one place since yesterday :P Hope they will continue during the week.

LMFAO will sell 1 million+ and i'm pretty sure of it, the song is growing on me ahhhhhhh :(

MAJOR OUCH.Sats are like the new McFly now LOL. No doubt Parade's new single will do the same brick fall as 'Notorious' though

All OA/OS songs have fallen rapidly after a few days, (even Beyonce and Gaga!) Its just the way it works. Then they stabilise and climb again after more promo/airplay

It's sadly, the truth :(

I could name a 1000 songs that deserve it more. PRA was probably made in 5 minutes. I

Come on, Party Rock Anthem isn't too bad! And I'm sure it was made in more than 5 minutes. And I'm not sure it'll sell a million anyway tbh.

Isn't it on around 666k+ at the moment and selling 40k+ per week? I'm pretty sure it will make 1 million easily....

Well, I suppose more than 5 minutes, but it is just 8 beats over and over again, which was made on the computer.

I would love for 'Party Rock Anthem' to sell a million. A genius song like this couldn't have been made in 5 minutes (I know you're being sarcastic but I'm saying this anyway)

'Party Rock Anthem' is THE song of the year    I don't think it'll sell a million but 900k isn't out of the question  The more weeks it spends in the top 3, the better!

I sincerely hope it doesn't! It's nowhere near good enough to be a million seller. It's a bit nothingy. But I have a feeling it will pass a million anyway :( I suppose it's sort of a good thing if we have 2 million sellers in a year though.

I apologise but I just can't like it :(.

Party Rock Anthem is really easily made beats and the song isn't even a million seller worthy, just my opinion.

Let me estimate how much time it took

30 - Writing the lyrics

30 - LMFAO's rapping and singing

15 - Lauren Bennet's singing

30 - The amazing production behind the song :wub;

60 - Getting the three acts together on one song, getting to the studio, sending over vocals and production (assuming the three artists didn't work in the same studio at the same time)

I've probably missed lots of other important steps  so it took longer than I estimated just then

They were being sarcastic, plus it's probably one of them songs which were made in a short period of time.

Lauren Bennett's singing surely took less than a minute - is it not the same clip of her voice repeated over and over?

And what does GoonRock even do on the song? This has been a mystery since the DAWN OF TIME.

I hate to disagree with you, but I am sure the production did not take as long. I imagine it was a case of making 8 beats on the computer, selecting the "bass" option the computer to play constantly, and putting their voice through automatic autotune.

I looked on Wilipedia, it says it is him and someone called Red Foo doing the production.

I feel kind of guilty for starting the LMFAO bashing.

Redfoo is one of the members of LMFAO :P
