I agree with you. (Although I actually loved Janet from week 1, who seemed to be that weeks major story, thing). It happens every year though... Matt Cardle, Rebecca Fergusson, Laura White, Mary Byrne etc...

Are you trying to suggest Laura White was over-rated? She was the best thing to ever come from X Factor, she was too good for it.

Hmm, I thought this was a good episode in terms of talent. Not that Jedward tribute act at the beginning, they were rather shit, but I loved Sami, her voice was really powerful.

And the girl from Twisted was alright, I mean, I could see it coming from a mile away, but she wasn't a bad singer, kind of overshadowed by Sami, but if she gets far, she could be my underdog this year. Saying that, she'll probably fail at Judges Houses.

Lascel was a fairly brilliant vocalist as well. Considering up to now we've had about one good person per episode, I'm comparatively amazed.

I was disappointed last night, the barmaid was good (not as good as they hyped her up to be by any means though) and the girl from Twisted was OK. The guy at the end was great too but he was (again) a little bit too praised by the judges, he's not as good as they make him out to be. I actually think the girlgroup who did Bust Your Windows were the best of the night tbh, shame we didn't see more! Janet, Jade and Mischa are still head and shoulders above everyone else, the boys are having a disappointing showing especially, hopefully there's some more good boys before bootcamp!

YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR SIZE IS, HONEY? SEXY. YOU SIZE SEXY.

Kelly Rowland is by far the best thing about this show thus far.

Tulisa has been a great judge, but Kelly is looking more and more like Jesus reincarnated each week.

The last guy we saw tonight was a bit brilliant it has to be said. His sob-story was a bit shit though, a 6/10 attempt at best. And his mum didn't even cry. GOD BIPOLAR MUM. GET IT RIGHT YEAH? I loved the fact he repeated his 'I was in foster care' story so many times. I bet he tells it to people in the street too.

Kelly's still far too amazing. And now apparently ends every episode as either a weeping emotional mess on the floor 'I AM SO PROUD OF YOU' or is on her feet like an idiot. Or breaking up girlbands, which I now think is probably what she does in her spare time.

Thinner Michelle McManus was a bit good too. If somewhat annoying. And her hat was shit. I quite liked ethnic Diva Fever at the start aswell.

Louis and Tulisa are a bit adorable together. Gary Barlow still WORST PERSON EVER.

 I look forward to your commentaries more than the actual show each week.

Didn't think Lascal's sob story was that bad. Last week was OMG FAT GOTH HAS A GRAN!

Sammi was my favourite-great voice, no sob story 'I'm thick and I like kebabs' doesn't count.

I don't even know if I can be bothered watching the auditions, it's all so cliche and boring. I do love the new judges, but that isn't reason enough for me to watch it really. We all know who's going to be in the finals from the auditions alone which really bothers me too.

I can't stop listening to Lascel Wood audition on YouTube.

He is a superstar. I hope a man wins this year. :P

1000% Couldnt agree more, think she just makes a perfect judge! :P

Bootcamp & Judges Houses are my favourite parts in X Factor (okay and the live shows :heehee:) so looking forward to the end of the first stage of auditions!

It's time a girl won or a decent group.

Apart from 2 it's always be boys

Its next to impossible for a girl to win unless they are exceptionally talented.I imagine the main voting demographic are young teen girls or older women who seem to vote for what male tottie catches there eye.

ROFL, Kelly so makes the show. Like Aled says she's always crying or standing on her feet clapping by the end of every episode.

Like all four judges! :D

Most of the auditions are just getting plain boring, they keep on showing all the no-hopers. I know it makes the show, but its beginning to wear off with me. All the best performers are appearing at the end of the show with a sob story.
And now RITD  So across the 2 days we've had SLY, MYFML and RITD! Not cliched at all!
This guy (in the hat) is going to be that person who gets through with flying colours because he messed up his audition at first, and then does really good 2nd time around... Grrr!

From successful auditions:

Full audition, sobstory, all in one part of the show = place in finals

Short audition = judges houses or sacrificial lamb at bootcamp. This one is nice, because it's fair and is the most unpredictable of the 3 audition lengths, but the people here are never going to be frontrunners.

Barely shown = Bootcamp cannon fodder.

They're so bloody obvious with the auditions, it's painful for the whole selection process. They do occasional subversions, but really, not enough. For a start, they can stop showing people's homes from the first audition, and give a full audition to everyone getting to houses, to at least make it somehow unpredictable.

Ranting, but I don't like the show being predictable. It's too easy to make fun of.

Tonight isn't as great as last night so far. The last guy was ok, but nothing special.

ITV live player went crap so I didn't see him mess up. I thought he was good though, very different voice to what's around.
By far my favourite of the night, I love that song to bits and she sung it so well. I can't believe she is only 16, she doesn't look or sound 16!
It cut out again, I'm assuming they loved the blonde girl?
