From Friday we need to stream the Disco album and also stream the Magic and Say Something remixes EPs etc

Signs are that Disco will perform much better on streaming than Golden. She has gained over a million new monthly listeners on Spotify since July and well over 2 million since Golden.

 

Yes, plenty of those are streaming CGYOOMH via playlists but nice to see I Love It and Magic well ahead of Raining Glitter and SMFF same stage.

I think Step Back in Time definitely helped Kylie's general streaming out and in turn that's exposed her new material to more people. The fact she's returned to the disco/dance-pop we all love from her probably means people are more quick to accept her new music too.

Ya I'm confident disco will have higher streaming than golden.

I would be immensely shocked if it doesn't.

Why do her team seem to be so against reducing the singles to 59p? Half the Top 20 are 59p and I know iTunes sales aren’t massive at the moment, but surely it would bring additional visibility - it did wonders for Dancing.

i am sure Magic Single version will be reduced to 59p next Friday for max impact.

 

it is nowhere to be seen though as everyone prefers the album version. Can you reduce an album version from 99p? i thought it was just the remixes/edits etc that got reduced to 59p?

 

remember for Dancing they did 99p remix bundles on Kylie.com midweek of album release and all the tracks individually where 59p.
