Follow-up of course to their #15 hit Me And You and #8 hit Guilt. Fourth single from their début album Welcome Reality.

 

Quality wise I think this is somewhere between the two (with 'Guilt' the best of the three) and a little bit better than their flop first single Innocence also. Would like it to be #1 but I think another low top 10, around 6 or 7, is more likely.

 

This is out on 24th July with the album out a week and a day later (1st August)

Either another Top 10 or Top 20. Well, just hoping it doesn't do a "brookaan reecaard"! LOL

Changed my prediction - it looks like a cert for T10 and possibly top 5 :o

I think this song will go Top 10, but only just (#9 or #10). It wouldn't surprise me if it ended up at #11 though. I quite like the song, and quite like the songs Nero releases, so I want it to go Top 10

If radio-friendly 'Me & You' could get to #15 and the brilliant 'Guilt' could get to #8 - then 'Promises'; which is just astonishing - the vocals are perfect and the production is flawless - should get top 5.

 

Hopefully the R1 playlisting will push them up to at least the A-list by release - and if they have (Radio Edit) and (Original Mix) like with 'Guilt' - then this is definitely heading for the T10. I'm going to say T10 as my prediction, but I'd love for it to go to #1; the only new competition is from The Wanted, Cher Lloyd and JLS really.

Think it may scrape top 5 now - would say I want #1 but it would be a travesty given "Me & You" didn't even go top 10.

Think 11-20, want top 5. This is one of those singles that I could see just barely missing the top 10.
