There's no noticeable gap to the top 10 at the moment, so Aloe Blacc could potentially return to the top 10 soon if Tinchy is falling. Katy could go top 10 as well of course but Aloe has overtaken her. Maybe they could both go top 10 and knoc out Nicole too.

 

If Example was still #1, Calvin would be on 0.92 and Pitbull on 0.88. I think his sales could drop quite a bit this week :( I just hope it has a good chart run, it's continuing to be ridiculously similar (as in the situations behind it's release, it's not musically similar) to I'm Not Alone and that had a good chart run I guess (albeit with lower opening sales) :P

Why is it that these sorts of bands insist on releasing singles midweek, instead of waiting until the weekend to release them and maximise chart position to get top 40? The Cribs and Enter Shikari have lost out on top 40 placings in the past year for just this reason, do they just not care about the chart?

I can only assume they don't. The way 'Shuffle' has climbed in its 14 hours of release I'd expect it to continue rising to the point where 7 day sales would put it in the top 40, but I can't see it lasting for 10 days....
