Oh Yusef is such an evil bast*rd.

I agree. It's one thing doing what he did, but he also did it with little Kamil standing right there. Sick or what?

It amazes me the amount of people who always say "so and so is evil, I can't wait 'til they leave". IT'S PART OF THEIR CHARACTER PEOPLE, HE'S NOT MEANT TO BE NICE. Ace Bhatti is one of the show's best actors at the minute.

I LOVE evil characters. If everyone in EE was nicey nice all time it'd be like Neighbours which sucks these days.

I like evil charactors but what i dont like about yusef is i think Ace Bhatti is a very wooden actor and i dont like his style at all, so thats why i cant wait until he leaves. I have to say overall im not enjoying the masoods at all at the moment, they are too all over the place and the divides are not strong enough to be interetsing for me, i am looking forward to amira's return but splitting up the masoods in general hasnt worked for me at all.

For me the tanya storyline is whats keeping me interested at the moment.

The actor who plays Ben is so shit!! It's supposed to be a storyline that is sympathised with, but I can't help but side with Patrick and Denise!

I agree, the Ben stuff is a little underwhelming, but maybe because we've known he's gay longer than he has.

Love Denise: well whose beef is it then?

Eurgh, David Essex is crap at emotion. Didn't mind him overall but I'm not sorry to see him gone. Vanessa should have had a better exit though-very Glenda-esque.
Wow. Unspeakably awful exit for Vanessa. EE is shocking at the minute.

Jodie and poppy stole the show last night.

Jodie: I'm an orphan now..........if you dont count my parents

I've only just caught up with EE today, and God you're right. She fell victim to the writers wanting to focus on the implosion of the Moon family, and it almost felt like they felt it was a chore having to include Vanessa in the episode. I'm half-surprised they didn't just say to hell with it and write her off off-screen. It's pretty symbolic of Vanessa's character though, after she spent a year almost playing a guest character in the Max/Tanya big love affair story.

I hate to admit but I'm one of those who has slowly switched off from EE recently. I really can't explain exactly what it is, but there's little that's capturing my excitement. I think the Masoods are in danger of being irrepairably damaged. We all KNOW they can do the drama, but I really think that they're fast becoming the resident MISERY family, which isn't something I think they should ever be. I really hope that once the Yusuf strand is inevitably wrapped up, they allow the Masoods some LIGHT time for a few months at least, just to remind everyone of how they came to be loved in the first place. The Moon brothers are pretty mediocre and far from worthy of all the airtime they've had recently, and I think the temporary absence of BIG characters like Max and Bianca is showing, especially on top of the likes of Ronnie and Peggy departing permanently. I also don't know why we're still seeing so little of Pat.

You would think with only three months to go, they'd be making the absolute MOST of her now.

Pat's exit is obviously going to involve that ridiculous old HAM Norman. I think the show is feeling the loss of Ronnie more than any other recent departee in all honesty. She anchored so many characters. Roxy in particular seems to be lost at sea now that her sister's living the dream in prison.

Roxy seems to have systematically had all her links to the Square removed over the past 18 months. Peggy left, Glenda left, Ronnie's in prison, she cut her ties with Michael, she fell out with Phil... They've done all that but at the same time failed to build up any other relationships for her. Christian and Jack aside (and those are fleeting at best) there's literally NOTHING.
Eastenders is slowly falling apart althought Amira returns this week :cheer:
I actually haven't watched in like 2 weeks  Missed anything exciting?
So it's been confirmed that

Max and Jane will both be back next month. NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON. I know Ian / Jane became a bit of a borefest in latter years, but I am quite curious to see how it all plays out with Mandy. I would actually love to see Jane establish her OWN life away from Ian initially, at least for a little bit.

I'm keen for Jane and Ian not to reunite too. Their last goodbye was so final. This said I think I'd rather see Mas with Denise than Jane.
Cora never fails to put a smile on my face. Cracking lines everytime.
Agreed. And she has some meaty dramatic stuff coming up with Tanya and Max that's sure to be epic.
