Someone Like You probably rises due to the weekend effect, but it does seem to climb an awful lot more than the other old songs do (not so much this week, but in previous weeks it has climbed like 10 places on iTunes sometimes, which is kind of shocking considering how high up it is anyway).

 

Yeah, Spaceship looks like it'll go into freefall now. I don't mind really, the song doesn't do much for me. I'm impressed by how well it did though, as I thought it was all over for Tinchy after Second Chance.

I don't think Tinchy Stryder will be over for a long time. I reckon he's passed his commercial highlight (with the likes of 'Number 1' and 'Never Leave You'), but he'll always get top 40 with his singles.

I can see Someone Like You going up once again after the X Factor auditions and live shows begin for some reason as well as towards the Christmas period...

Hopefully Jessie will recieve a little boost from Glastonbury. They have just shown highlights of her set on BBC3 and are now showing the whole set on the red button. I doubt it will have must effect but it could boost 'Nobody's Perfect' & 'Price Tag' a place or two.

True, I guess. And Game Over wasn't even an official single, so that song did really well to spend 4 weeks in the top 40! :o I can't think of any other non-single that's done that (some have, but they got made singles afterward).

 

He might get another top 10 hit if he releases another pre-album single and frontloads it.

Notorious really is doomed now. It's basically did nothing after 3 television promotion yesterday. It's dropping already and the fact that it's 0.59p should have helped it. It's airplay has been horribile though #36 radio airplay Sats worst airplay for a single!

I have got to say I am surprised Don't Wanna Go Home is still at the top of itunes, I was expecting it to start falling by friday. This song might just have some longevity, but I can still see this being a non-number 1 or at least one of the weakest selling number ones of the year.

is there any songs out this weekend which could get say top 20/ top 10 or higher?
