Took the words out of my mouth. All i see is positive if i'm completely honest. I'm glad most of the people I know cant deny talent when they see it, regardless of music taste. ^_^

No one's denying her talent. But her performance was in no way as perfect as some people on this thread are making it out to be.

I don't think it's fair to use Buzzjack to guage public opinion, because Beyonce is quite hated on here in comparison to with the general public.

I'm going to assume this is sarcasm. There are only two Beyoncé songs that are more hated than liked on BJ and those are SL(PAROI) and RTW(G). And the former is pretty close to 50/50 anyway.

Well, most of the people in this thread didn't like her performance, and found it underwhelming.

It's just the same 2 or 3 people defending her if you look. The vast majority of people posting here thought the performance was poor, for a headlining.

Also, at least out of her recent songs, Video Phone and Diva also seem to be loathed on here. And probably some of her older songs too aren't liked, but obviously we haven't discussed those at length, so we can't know for sure.

Wow at all the negativity on buzzjack! I bet none off you lot could pull of a performance like that! :yahoo:
Imagine one of these indie bands at the BET awards or closing Essence Festival. They would NEVER be able to do what Bee just did COMPLETELY out of her comfort zone. Performer of our generation.

It's not really about how she is as a performer though.

When you're at the last night of a festival, the last thing you'd probably most want to do is go and listen to some woman try and belt out Etta James to an audience that quite frankly couldn't really give a shit. OH WAIT, THAT HAPPENED.

Just downloaded 4 because she deserves a number 1 album based on that performance.

Incredible

Katy Perry - Last Friday Night 7

Lady Gaga - Edge Of Glory 8

Nicki Minaj - Super Bass 14

The Saturdays - Notorious 18

I thought she was AMAZING. Loved every minute of it. She looked so overwhelmed, it was quite emotional to watch actually. Love her. :D

Seems like the performance has had a major effect - deserved too, as she was amazing. The responses I've seen on facebook, twitter, forums and from the press have been extremely positive - this is the only site I've been on which has been a more negative, but oh well.

Do remember though, this is Buzzjack. Everybody hates Beyonce here (except for like the 5 of us ). :(

I like Diva too! :D Even that cover that Rihanna and Nicki Minaj did of it was quite good. :kink:

Oh yeah, they all stayed to see Beyonce because they didn't give a $h!t. All the auidence were into the performance, and they all could have left if they didn't want to stay to see her. Don't be so ridicilous, just because you wouldn't want to see Beyonce, doesn't mean that no-one else would. She has possibly one of the best voices of the generation, so the people in the auidence know how lucky they were to hear and see that.

The audience seemed pretty bored to me.

All the auidence were into the performance.

I heard a lot of people say that actually. Apparently there were parts in the performance where Beyonce didn't even have to sing, because the crowd were singing along so loud! :o

I absolutely LOVE 'Diva'. I don't get all the hate for it, the same case with RTW(GIRLS). :(

Well I don't know what performance you guys were watching...
The audience seemed pretty bored to me.

No way. They were MENTAL, especially when she done 'Run The World (Girls)'.

My Beyonce rate goes like this:

01. Halo

02. Crazy In Love

03. I Was Here

04. Sweet Dreams

05. Hello

06. Naughty Girl

07. Freakum Dress

08. If I Were A Boy

09. Smash Into You

10. Deja Vu
