Have u got a link to that performance Eric?

Yeah, I managed to find it now:

I also saw a performance where Justin Bieber was singing One Time and then he randomly went into Turn My Swag On, which was a similar thing, in that both songs are extremely similar. I think in cases like these it can be better for the artists to acknowledge the similarities rather than deny them, because it shows that they probably weren't trying to secretly copy the song.

I hope The Wanted can get #1 for a week. I think they'll reach there on iTunes, but they tend to be quite frontloaded. But DJ Fresh is also frontloaded (but to a lesser extent probably). So it could be close. All Time Low had good longevity in the end, but I think it did appear like it would tumble down the charts in its first couple of weeks (which I was hoping it would do, since I hated that song).

Well, I hope The Wanted hold #1 all week then :D But I'm not sure they will, I can see it starting to fall massively on Wednesday or Thursday.

I actually think it's going to be close between DJ Fresh and The Wanted this week. However, if The Wanted were to go to #1 the chances are DJ Fresh will only reclimb back to no. 1 next week taking full advantage of a quiet week. Therefore I'd prefer to just see 'Louder' no. 1 for three consecutive weeks rather than a broken chain.

As for 'All Time Low', I'm certain that the single would've plummeted down the chart but The Wanted ended up doing a lot of TV performances of the single which helped stabilise its sales over a period of weeks. I still think a song going 01-05 is shocking even if it does stick around for a few months.

ugh... Wanted #1 never thought I see it coming, I do hate broken chains

I do like The Wanted, so I hope it stays number 1. Wouldn't mind DJ Fresh regaining it though, as is likely to happen seeing as they will obviously fall later in the week.

wow, The Wanted number 1 :o after Gold Forever underperformed, I didn't think they'd get number 1 with this, DJ Fresh had a huge lead as well :o must have been a lot of momentum

I think that added with EP sales means they have number 1 for this week unless the single falls dramatically throughout the week, I do think DJ Fresh may reclaim number 1 eventually though

Great Beyonce blocked from ever reaching number one. :(
#34 Coldplay - Fix You  I believe this is the highest it has been this week on iTunes!!

It was #32 earlier.

WOW on GYC... DJ FRESH has a HUGE lead and they covered it like it was nothing.
'Glad You Came' is their best single to date

I'll second that - I think (at least I hope) it will be one of the summer songs we will remember in 5 years time

I cant believe The Wanted are already #1 :o Louder had a massive lead!

Oh Scouting For Girls performing too, may help them.
