But also, another thing worth noting is how all those British songs in the top 10 were held back and frontloaded. We can complain about songs being frontloaded, debuting at their peak, and then falling fast, but it has its advantages.

None of the songs are falling fast though

It wasn't an 'all US top 10', it was a top 10 with no British acts. There are other nationalities you know...

Yes, sorry. I made that mistake before aswell.

Till I'm Gone is on the front page of Youtube now, so maybe it'll climb faster. I think it might've really helped it when it happened to What's My Name?

Their sales are distributed heavily towards the start of their chart life (i.e. their first week). They didn't climb to #1 like Give Me Everything and Party Rock Anthem did (although DJ Fresh might've been able to do it if it was on air, on sale, looking at how popular it is atm! :o).

IMO 'I Wanna Go' is Britney's best single from Femme Fatale, after the horrible 'Hold It Against Me' and the average 'Till The World Ends' so it's such a shame to see it flopping :(

The song isn't getting promoted. At all. If it was getting played as much on the radio as the likes of Bruno Mars, Jessie J, Adele, etc. it would certainly be top 20.

It should've been the lead (much as I love HIAM and TTWE)! :( Brilliant song! It's not my fave on the album, but it's certainly the most obvious hit, she may have nabbed a Womanizer sized hit with it had it been released first. Interest has waned incredibly in the album now though, as shown by the huge flop even with the video out!

I like all three of the singles tbh. It's a bit sad that the UK was one of the only countries in the world where Hold It Against Me didn't get #1 on iTunes, but there you go. I always get full of jealousy when a good song is at #1 on like every country in Europe's iTunes expect the UK.

My favourite of the singles is Till the World Ends. One of my favourite pop songs of this year. I'm actually very pleased with its chart success (especially in the US, it was HUGE! :o).

 2. How We Roll (feat. Tanya Lacey) - Loick Essien

 3. Don't Wanna Go Home - Jason Derülo

 4. Best Thing I Never Had - Beyoncé

 5. Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Radio Edit) - Example

Example has fallen from #1 to #5 in just two days :( Although it was never *that* far ahead of Jason or Beyoncé and DJ Fresh and Loick are both new releases so it's alright, probably hasn't dropped that much in sales.

Jason has very marginally increased (as in by about 0.006)

What's more confusing is how Jason Derulo is now ahead of Example and Beyonce again. But whatever goes I guess.

It feels like I've been saying this for like a month now, but I hope Super Bass can get top 10.

Bloody hell - Loick top 2 now :o I'm honestly so shocked, didn't expect even top 20!

I'm shocked too!! :o :o :o

So do I! The shock of the year, maybe decade. :o <_<

I will kill someone if he is number 1 tomorrow.

That is insane for Loick :o Would have been a #1 if not for DJ Fresh releasing on the same week, I honestly thought it would go top 20 at absolute best.

Cannot believe How We Roll is #2, is it anywhere in top 50 on radio or tv? Wow.

So pleased to see SFTTR #17 will climb another few places this week officially, #21 yesterday and hoping #19 this Sunday then a video next week (wishful thinking it seems even though it should have been out already!!!!)

I think we may have to come to terms Superbass is never going to make top 10 :o

I'd imagine How We Roll has made the video chart. Not sure about radio. It was someone's record of the week a few weeks ago on Radio 1. I also listen to Radio 1Xtra a lot, where he gets talked about quite a bit. I honestly don't think that radio station has any real effect on the chart though. Some songs they playlist don't even go top 1000 on iTunes.

About Set Fire to the Rain, I was thinking, perhaps they're going to have the music video to time with the US release of the song?

ugh, now I've heard that Loick Essien song, its even more frustrating how well he's doing :(

How did I *not* realise he is another rapper? For some bizarre reason, I thought he was Scandinavian.

Before you say anything, it was only this morning that I first saw a picture of him (or heard any of his music)...
