I agree.

Go away Alexandra Saxobeat.

I literally do not see the appeal in 'Piece Of Me' and 'Gimme More'. Most popular songs that I dislike have some obvious appeal that I recognise even if I don't like it. But POM and GM are just horrible and I don't understand how anyone can stand hearing them, let alone actively like them

Sounds like you are stepping into a minefield - one only too familiar to me... :P

TBF though I do agree with Bray regarding 'Gimme More'. I never understood the fascination with it at the time. I wouldn't single it out as Britney's worst single though. There are a magnitude of contenders for that accolade.

POM on the other hand is divine <3

Nicola needs to get her ass back in the Top 40! T4 On The Beach tomorrow plus the physicals, c'mon Team Ginge!
With the second veriosn, SFTTR is top 10 3 days already and even now she has 1% more than Mr. Sexobeat, she will be 11 this week... shame.
It's strange how How We Roll has gradually been getting closer to #1 over the week! :o Although I think it's more a case of DJ Fresh being more frontloaded. I think Louder is very well-known already (I mean, look at its sales ), but I think a lot of people might still be discovering How We Roll. Even quite a lot of people on here didn't know it at first. I can see Ed Sheeran climbing to #1 in a few weeks though.

Not going to happen, not with The Wanted, JLS and Cher lloyd due over the next few weeks...

Nicola Roberts up to 51...

LP holding up pretty well still given they couldn't make the top 10... should be comfortably top 40 this week and then hopefully hold that next week.

This is really random, but you using that abbreviation reminded me of when I was at school, and quite a few of my friends were obsessed with Linkin Park, and they had Linkin Park T-shirts and everything, except instead of LP, they said Lq on them. Do they have like a secret name that only their fans know? Like Linkin Queue or something?

I think it should make top 40 this week. Not sure about next week though.

Oh my gosh, can Adele go top 10 asap please! :drama: There'll probably be some big release that'll knock her down if she doesn't get in there soon.

Adele HAS to go top 10 today, she's so close surely she will. (I didnt expect it to make top 10 so soon, so being at #11 is such a bonus! I want it top 10 before tomorrow's new releases! COME ON SFTTR!

Can anyone tell me how close she is?

Adele is only about 0.02 behind Alexandra now. Really hope she can overtake today (and then get to at least #9 before The Wanted go top 10) but Alexandra will probably be increasing again now :(

Hopefully it'll get #11 officially this week, but #12 is probably more likely. Either way comfortably her 7th straight top 20 hit and outpeaking Cold Shoulder and Hometown Glory :D

Adele rate time :kink:

Chasing Pavements 9/10

Hometown Glory 8.5/10

Cold Shoulder 7.5/10

Make You Feel My Love 7/10 (would be higher but I got sick of hearing it )

Rolling In The Deep 10/10

Someone Like You 9.5/10

Set Fire To The Rain 10/10 (officially LOVE this now!  )

The only thing I can see troubling the top 10 that is being released tonight is 'Glad You Came'. I wish Adele and Nicki would hurry up!

Thanks Bre. Okay anyone who hasnt downloaded it yet download now :heehee: Get that push!

Well she's really close to overtaking Alexandra now! (Same with Nicki! :D - But she's miles behind number 9 so it'll take a while for her to get top 10! :drama:)

09. Pitbull 'Give Me Everything' 0.373701

10. Alexandra Stan 'Mr Saxobeat' 0.318703

11. Adele 'Set Fire to the Rain' 0.296310

12. Nicki Minaj 'Super Bass' 0.282694

Grrr. Come on Nicki! But like I said once Adele is top 10, she'll receive "the top 10 boost" whilst Nicki will be having an uphill battle against Pitbull. :arrr:

EDIT: Adele Rate...

06.5 Chasing Pavements

08.0 Hometown Glory

08.5 Cold Shoulder

05.0 Make You Feel My Love

01.0 Rolling In The Deep

09.0 Someone Like You

09.0 Set Fire To The Rain

Her songs get boring/overplayed way too quickly.

Beyoncé's video doesn't seem to have helped very much so far, it's still on less than 0.5 (0.495880 to be precise).

Is the video not on music channels yet or something?

The "q" is a backwards "P"

I dont think so, I havent seen it at all yet, i think it'll impact more this week coming rather then this weekend. :)

COME ON ADELE! Minaj is so close behind her, and i want that top 10 too but Adele first!

The Wanted need to sell a lot to catch up. Plus, they will be frontloaded while Fresh will be stable next week... I think Fresh will hold on at #1.
